Good hotel overall friendly staff and good service, he buffet was amazing, only thing I disliked was it was difficult to book reservations for dinner, I was only able to book dinner for 2/8 days I was there

The best thing it’s new, the worse it’s boring and inconveniently designed. Once you leave your room, there are limited amount of bathrooms. No restrooms in the main dinning. No where to wash your hands before you eat, no hand sanitation stations in dinning hall.

Staff weren’t the friendliest and not helpful at all. Felt like we were an inconvenience being there. Shade in the pool area did not protect you from the sun so had to lie under the ONE towel they allow you to have. No shade at the beach even though the pictures shore umbrellas, they won’t take any down there. Food was average. Very Americanized unfortunately. Not enough restaurants besides the buffet. Buffet has pretty much the same food for 7 days we were there. Not much local choice which is a pity. Kept running out of glasses at breakfast for juice bar. Not enough hanging space for towels in the bathroom, so nothing dries. Had to ask for new towels every day almost which I hate doing. Not our best all inclusive experience, I wouldn’t go back. Not the best by Riu unfortunately. Hopefully this is just teething issues

The property and staff, hands down, were all amazing. Monique at the swim up pool bar is life. She gives great energy every time she is there. The dancers at the show are wonderful performers. No complaints here!

Staff was excellent! Food was good but can only take so much jerk chicken, jerk pork, and steak. I’m not sure what the fix is here if you are staying more than 4-5 days. Maybe expand to Asian hibachi, Italian, and Hispanic food options. My two knocks on this place were, water pressure in the showers varies from weak to none, and yes I did say none. The second no entertainment options other than beach stuff (paddle boards/boats and beach games) and pool activities. They have this huge stage that barely gets used. I’d play movies on that from 10:00 am 🎶 Good Morning🎶 song till the live entertainment starts. Also other underutilized areas could be used for card games, bingo, dominos, etc. Loved the resort and the staff. Just trying to polish this diamond in the rough.

Property was new. Beach was nice. Activity department was on point Staff was often bothered when asked for service or help. Housekeeping was a big issue. Did not come and clean room. Was difficult to get things like towels and toliet paper. Will not return to this resort.
