“Overall the property met our needs. Location was great and easy to find. We went in the fall so we didn’t utilize the outdoor amenities but they looked nice. The only suggestion I would make would be to tweak the communication about the rules related to the property. While I understand the need to establish clear communication it came across as not very welcoming.”

“We had the best fall getaway with my sister and daughters at Spruce Retreat. Cozy, quaint, quiet location close to beautiful Peninsula State Park. Spruce retreat has everything you need. We had as much fun staying in as we did going out. Highly recommend for a perfect stay!”

“This is a older resort but well maintained. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. our room had a whirlpool tub, fireplace, kitchenette with toaster, coffee maker and dishes, and a large balcony. We hope to return in the fall.”

“This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. We love it as it is dog friendly, clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill station, hammock and kayaking during sunsets. The views are incredible outside and from the inside. We stayed off season so it was quite chilly, but you can always warm up in the indoor sauna:). Great hiking opportunities in the nearby state parks (Newport and Death Door Bluff), The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!”

“Place was nice but not much open in Door County in April. Road was ripped up in Egg Harbor so even more stores/restaurants closed. Would go back again but not until May when things start opening up.”

“The property was ideal as far as location and personal amenities. We definitely would consider staying at Landmark again, but possibly in a different unit. Ours had a faint smoke smell that permeated everything!”

“Solo visit with my dog as companion prepping boat for 2024 season. Property is neat as a pin, quiet, and located very convenient to all that sister bay has to offer. Michelle was VERY responsive and all communications were pro active, professional, yet personable. Lots of nice touches in rental made us feel right at home immediately. Great spot and great stay!”

“First of all the family owners were exceptional. They greated us with open arms and really invited us to take time with the horses. My wife was side by side with feeding time. And if your worried about staying in a stable house, don't! It is fixed up very nicely, with some of the best furniture I have had in a VRBO unit. And you can't hear any noise, it was pretty sound proof. I sat outside for about 3 hours just watching the cattle, chickens and horses and just relaxed. We also went to thier……
