Spacious and charming place for a getaway!
We enjoyed the creativity and charm of Marsha and Greg's property from the moment we stepped on to the garden path leading us to our getaway. Such beautiful plants on a property with a lovely family history! The high ceilings and many windows gave the expansive kitchen and living room area a bright and airy feel. The main bedroom was cute and comfy, too. Everything we could have wanted or needed was available, thanks to thoughtful and detailed stocking. Marsha communicated with us immediately any time we asked and was thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend it and hope to return!

Beautiful Oasis Getaway
Went down to visit my kiddos & my grandsons first bday. My sister came and stayed with me for a few days & we enjoyed the beautiful retreat. The property was lovely & well appointed. The hosts were super friendly, generous and welcoming ! Would definitely recommend !!

This was 2nd time we stayed here, we would stay here again, convenient to Encinitas and North County San Diego restaurants, beaches, shopping and hiking. The owners are wonderful and make every effort to accommodate.

This rental felt so much more than just any VRBO. It was clean and well appointed. The place was very quiet, even at an early hour for us "early-to-bed" folks. Communication with the owner was very smooth. Will likely book again. Thanks!

Staying at Marsha and Greg's place was incredibly relaxing, close to all of the beautiful sites in Encinitas and not a far drive from La Jolla and San Diego proper. Lots of beautiful greenery and space. Would recommend Greg & Marsha's place 100 percent!

Wonderful stay
We enjoyed our stay. The property is upstairs with its own gated entry. The grounds are beautiful with palm trees and flowers. The place is professionally decorated and is immaculate. On a clear day you can see the ocean in the distance. It had all the appliances and cookware needed. Netflix and Amazon Prime were a nice luxury. Marcia was very welcoming. We loved it.

Stayed here with my partner to recover after surgery. Lovely open kitchen space and tv/family room. We enjoyed our stroll around the neighborhood and also were pleasantly surprised by the ocean views from all the windows. Outdoor space felt like Hawaii and was very inviting.

Where do I start? From the moment we arrived to the morning we left, Marsha and Greg’s VRBO was the best home away from home you can imagine. The space feels like a cottage and includes everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It is very clean and well maintained, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We can’t wait for an opportunity to return!

Our week in this beautiful home home was just perfect. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and just lovely. Convenient to every place we wanted to go. We were fortunate to meet Marsha and the dogs. The minute i walked in I felt as if I was returning to a place I'd visited before. The warmth and peace i felt were instent. The extra touches were as they fixed this place just for me. The pitcher of water in the refrigerator was perfect. Just what i needed after traveling. The location was perfect. Access to everything was so convienent. The neighbor hood is established and very quiet. I cant say enough. I'll make sure everytime I'm in the area to contact Greg and Marsha and rent their dream cottage again. Island Vibe
The property, perfectly depicted in the photographs, is very bright and sunny. Great attention has been given to the decor both in and out, providing an island vacation feeling to the stay. The bathroom is a tad small with limited counterspace but the large kitchen counter makes up for it. More important, the bed is big and comfortable and the place is very quiet at night. All that's missing is the sand and surf.

quiet retreat
Attractive, well furnished, top floor two bedroom in a residential neighborhood in land a few minutes drive from the beach, with lots of windows, wood beam ceilings and day light. Open kitchen, dining and living space very comfortable for cooking and hanging out. Greg and Marsha wonderful hosts with lots of suggestions of where to eat and enjoy time at the many beautiful beaches in the area.
