"When I made the reservation, I was told that we were able to have 2 adjoining rooms. I even called the day prior to checking in to make sure we were still able to have 2 adjoining rooms. When we arrived, our rooms were on the 4th floor, and the 7th floor. Not even close to each other. No suggestions were even made as to how we could have gotten 2 adjoining rooms after bringing it to their attention. I was a bit disappointed. Also, the outdoor pools were not open, nor were any of the chairs...

"I should start by putting things in context: I'm rating this hotel 4 out of 5 compared to other hotels of its age and type (an older American beach town hotel). I'm not ranking it compared to the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong or the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore or so on. Parking was free, the location is excellent, the hotel was in decent condition and was clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. "Very clean rooms and facility, right off the board walk we got a “partial ocean view” for our room but it was so much more than that we saw everything. It’s right off the board walk, easy parking, very convenient, super friendly and attentive staff. This is the only hotel me and my fiancé will book with when we return to Ocean City. We will for sure be back here."
