The owner apologized because she wasn’t able to catch one of her cats. The cat came into the house the first night and scared us."

I think common sense tells a person to treat the property as if it was your own….and have a wonderful time! Such a nice person to deal with. "Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the birds, seeing the work of the beavers, took the canoe out. Read books sitting on the dock. The lake is small, private and quiet. No loud jet skis and speed boats disrupting your peace and quiet. We watched two DVDs they had on site one night. What a special treat that was. We fired up the cozy wood burning stove almost every day. Plus we like to cook and this kitchen was well laid out and had all the basics we needed to make some fantastic meals. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful."
