"The room was comfortable and spacious, didn't feel crowded. The staff was very friendly. And I enjoyed the little amenities--the fresh popcorn and the cookies. We stayed for four days and thoroughly enjoyed it."

"A wonderful historical old hotel right in the middle of downtown Durango. 2 blocks from vintage train. 3 cool bar/restaurants on site. Diamond Belle was a fun saloon with Can Can girls and a old timey piano player. "

"This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel. We like staying here because we can bring our dogs. It’s always been a nice, comfortable place to stay. They were renovating this visit & the updates were nice. The staff was pleasant & helpful. The only con I had was that we stayed in a handicap accessible room & there were some small tweaks that I would make in the bathroom like : 1) extending the bar to the shower for when you step out 2) installing a rounded shower curtain bar so when you sit on the handicap bench the curtain isn’t always in your face, 3) adjusting the hand held sprayer for easier access to the handicap bench. "

"Stayed for several days. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of places to walk around the hotel. It is on a busy street and there is no "view." There is a pickleball ct and basketball hoop and a nice outside courtyard. The only down side to the facility was the small elevator and narrow halls. Otherwise a great stay. "

"This is a sImple-no frills but very clean motel. The check in process was easy and the person who checked me in was awesome. I would definitely stay here again. "
