"This cabin was perfect for our stay, close to Gooseberry Falls and not too far from restaurants and Two Harbors. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Spacious, and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, with that said, the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds leave much to be desired. The beds themselves were very thin mattresses, with no mattress pad, ONLY a this polyester bed cover. When we arrived only two of the beds were made. The smaller room with the bunks beds...

"We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"The yurt is perfect, with all the amenities for a relaxed stay in nature. The owners have provided all the access to power, water, heating to make it like a well appointed hotel room, but in the country and with windows all around. I could happily watch the sky through the skylight for hours."

"Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful."

We lovingly refer to this place as "the cabin" and it has been a place of comfort, relaxation and bonding while competing in Duluth for a number of years now. Most of the girls who comprise this team are seniors in high school and graduating. The next generation is looking forward to getting "the cabin" with their teammates and families and our families have already started looking...

"Stay was wonderful. Beautiful cabin, beautiful weather and absolutely beautiful views! Couch was terribly worn. Walk to shower house/ bathroom is a trek! Steps to it would be helpful. Overall the price was perfect, cabin very nice. The gamily time it created was amazing!"

"My husband and I came up to Minnesota to go birding at Sax Zim Bog, and we found this great cottage. It was the perfect place! It was very close to Sax Zim Bog, and it was close to the gas station and Wilbert Cafe in town. It was a great size, newly designed, nice appliances to cook our own meals, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a large shower. "This was our 4th girls trip to the barn! Enough space for 20 women to comfortably enjoy. Even all had a real bed to sleep in! Highly recommend this place. The only glitch this year was the hot tub was not filled upon arrival so we could not get it rippin' until the following day."
