"We enjoy seeking out adventures that are out of the ordinary whilst making fun memories ~ it’s always fun to share when we find something new that’s simply awesome…The Crooked Creek Guest Ranch in Dubois, WY is only 50 + miles away from Jackson, WY and also the South entrance to Yellowstone ~ after driving to the top of the mountain on a county road {that can be kind of bumpy…normal for the mountains and just drive slowly} you will enter the Guest Ranch receiving a warm welcome and enjoy well appointed and comfortable cabins ~ the property has a restaurant and bar within walking distance…playground area and birds and peace and quiet and breathtaking views…we will be excited to return!"

"This property is probably most accurately described as 'rustic.' It has older buildings and the rooms are small and not lavishly decorated, but perfect for anyone looking for a short getaway or a stop overnight while driving cross country. The rooms were clean, everything was in working order, and the WiFi worked well. The staff was very friendly and personable and if you are fortunate as we were, you might meet up with the son of the owner, who is quite a joy to hang out with. They had a campfire going the night we stayed, which we took advantage of to do something other than surf the web. The office has a small store that is open until about midnight with a variety of things you might need. The property borders the river, which is relaxing. We will stay there the next time we pass through. "

Quiet stay in Dubois, very close to national parks

"Great stay in Dubois. Joel and Amy were great hosts. Cabin was really cute and Joel's idea.folder was good sinc eI go places eithout itineraries and learn about the local area. Grand Tetons were about an hour away, Jackson hole 1 1/2 hours. And yellowstone about an 1 , hr 45 minites to the major attractions in the southern loop. Wouls stay again. HIGHLY recommend."

Big Diamond Ranch<br>Luxury home with mountain views and a river running through

Excellent choice for a home away from home

"Our family enjoyed the stay at Kathrin's place. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate! The check in process was very easy, and Kathrin checked with us upon arrival to make sure everything aligned to our needs. She volunteered that we could contact her at any point for any questions. The home is very spacious, including a large kitchen and dining area - perfect for larger groups. The personal sauna was also a hit and much needed after a day of hiking. The views are outstanding...river runs right through the property, allowing my husband to fish each day. The property also backs up to National Forest, and we were able to hike to the ridges. :-) The home is an easy 15 minute drive from Dubois where you will find a grocery market, a few restaurants, and other fun shops. Cowboy Cafe is small, but the food and service are perfect. Get there early on weekends for great breakfast! Perch Coffee served up much needed caffeine with a smile (and tons of choices for beverages!)! We also enjoyed the Lone Buffalo! The house is about 75-90 minutes from Jackson; getting there takes you over the Continental Divide and provides amazing views. Our teens slept in the loft; the steps to get to it are steep, and though it worked for us, it wouldn't be suitable for particularly younger or older friends. Overall, I guarantee if we go back to the area, we would absolutely book this property again."
