Highly Disappointed
Horrible. Home not clean, definitely don’t have a cleaning person. I checked in 12/30/23 late evening & immediately message the host I was unhappy upon arrival conditions. Didn’t get an immediate response & figured just some light cleaning will do & make the best of it. I went to the store buying mattress cover, blanket, odor eliminator, cleaning supplies & spent too many hrs cleaning before I could even settle in.
-Upon beginning to clean the more I had to clean to the point I had darn near cleaned the whole place on a deep level. Cleaned walls, curtains, bedding, blinds, appliances, bathroom, floors, trash cans, you name it. Hand rails so dirty they could not have been cleaned ever. Many basics missing as well as no mop/bucket, only a 1/2 handle broom, no kitchen sink stopper, towels/mitts, etc… Many 1/2 cleaned dishes. Dingy bedding, stained pillows, Missing cabinet knobs, furniture & pillow stains & tears. Strong Animal smell & animal hair everywhere.
-At this point I was furious & started taking pics. When the host did respond I didn’t see it right away & was asked for pictures. Oh I had some, I sent 52 pics on 12/31 showing the dirty condition of the home. Old body towels, no blow dryer or iron, etc…No response from host so I contacted customer service.
- This matter was NOT solved sufficiently by the host at all & I felt forced to stay to avoid being at a huge loss even after getting customer service involved. First time using this platform & never again.
