"It was a really lovely place to stay! the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful and fun. they went out of their way to accommodate us and even show us hiking trails. the rooms were very clean and tidy. beds were super comfortable and there was air conditioning which was really needed. "We loved the layout of property, there is so much space. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Towels were provided for swimming and for showering. Some of the negative aspects can't be helped - such as the fact that there is a resort on either side of the house. So that does mean you're in view of those guests when outside using the pool - and some guests are crass! One of the resorts is still under construction (August 2023) so the noise from that did hinder out enjoyment. However...

"The staff were amazingly welcoming the whole time and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The location is about 1.5 hour drive from the airport but is set in a lovely small community. We arranged food at de vos which was delicious and removed all the hassle of having to arrange food. There is a well stocked store ~5 mins away though if you need. Thank you Annemarie and the crew, we could not have asked for a better stay!"

"Booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Awful dark cell of a room with fan that rattled insanely. No WiFi anywhere despite it being offered. Very limited drinks and not much on the menu available - in a very isolated no-options location. The smear of (apparently) poop discovered on the sheet sealed it. "

"Very simple but extremely good. If you do not mind to have cold shower and just have electricity for 3 hours ir is the perfect place to stay. The island is the most beautiful place that I have been. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel at home. I will learn a lot abou the Fijian culture. "

"Although we booked Navotua homestay, our conformation email said we would be staying on the other side of the island at Malakati, so this review is of Malakati Homestay.The villagers were nice and welcoming, interacting with the children was our highlight and the proximity to a swimable beach was great.There were a few mishaps at the beginning of our stay which left us kind of sour.Firstly, the change in location was a little unsettling as we researched Navotua only, however, in the end Malakati...

"We had such a magical stay at the Warwick! The staff such as Veronica and Adi were so accomodating and made us feel like family! We stayed in a club room which is very worth it for the afternoon tea, drinks and canapés as well as escaping to an adults only floor. The resort is quite far from Denaru so plan your trip accordingly with your flight times. Other than that the hotel was stunning and we can’t wait to go back! Also make sure you book dinner as soon as you arrive for the week ahead so you don’t miss out! "
