"Having stayed in a Budget Ibis in Poland the night before, my expectations were not high, but they were surpassed. This hotel is good value, it is a budget hotel so don't expect any frills. The rooms are basic and functional, ideal for stopping over on a journey, rather than long stays. The staff were friendly and even waived our 3 Euro parking fee as we were transporting aid to Ukraine. Breakfast was nice, a good selection of alternatives for all tastes. The only point I found a little odd...

"Very good staff, helpful. Room a bit spartan, no air-con, no fan, no refrigerator, no safe but we slept well. Nice and quiet overnight."

"It was ok all in all. The internet was available only in the breakfast room and not in the rooms, a detail which is not written when you book a reservation. The bathroom had a problem, the water could not go down in the bathtub and we had to change the room. But after all, it was fine."

"It's a simple place to stay in beautiful Jena! The staff and people here are all Friendly and you are really close to the Carl Zeiss Jena Football club/stadium. Excellent atmosphere!"

"The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."

"Die vorgegebenen Corona Richtlinien wurden von Seiten des Hotels eingehalten. Gäste haben beim Frühstück dagegen verstoßen ( Abstandsregelung, 4 Personen an einem kleinen Tisch). Dem Personal war der Umstand bewusst. Es wurden aber keine Abstellmaßnahmen eingeleitet. "

"We loved staying at the Hof - Amadeus Boutique Hotel. The owners were warm and welcoming; stayed up extra time waiting for us to arrive when we were delayed due to a storm we got caught in. The accommodations were clean and comfortable; we got wonderful rooms - and the breakfast amazing! Danke viel mals !"
