“Very basic place to stay but nice and clean. You get free water everyday. The bathroom is very basic, i wasn't expecting 5* so i wasn't disappointed with what we got. Short walk to the beach from the room we had. Trees over head full of fruit bats that screech during the night and early morning but not bad enough to disturb us too much. Overall happy with our stay. ”

“We had a fantastic time at Alunan and really glad we booked here for half our stay on the Perhentian. Room - Spacious and very clean, having the deck upstairs is also a really nice touch Food - Probably the best food we ate on the Perhentian islands, both western and Malay options availabl. It is slightly more expensive but worth it in our opinion. Breakfast with the room was also great, fresh roti canai were really nice. “it's the hotel with the best Beach around 2 islands, good food you can have diving and country walk. But you can hear people from next room so try not making too many funny noise. :P And there are some sand on the bed since day one.”

So they changed us another so called very little seaview room and only 300 sq ft. We are very disappointed and the manager said it’s the deluxe chalet. Expedia is posting the wrong information.
