“Personally for us we felt this was a very commercial property, however it suited our needs. Beach wasnt really swimmable, but the heavily chlorinated pools were a welcome relief. Thanks RTP.”

“Not really the place to have fun though. Bit boring stayed in my room or out and about the city. Going for swim not great because everyone can see you from restaurant and bar so felt uncomfortable walking past all wet ...not unless there was another entrance i dudnt see”

“Best place to stay in Samoa on Upolu. Staff are wonderful, can’t do enough to make you comfortable. We’ve stayed here before and have stayed at other resort on Upolu. We visited other top resorts for lunch and were so happy to return to Sinalei every day ”

“Great stay for an overnight. Pool was almost always empty. Room service wasn’t the greatest but arrived in a timely manner. The staff were lovely and had lovely customer service. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Lovely beach fales on the beach front. Perfect location. Food was really yummy and plenty offered. Mary was amazing she really made my stay enjoyable. There were no basic toiletries including soap in the bathrooms which was not good. Beds were comfortable and clean sheets. Very beautiful location and close to lots of attractions. Highly recommend this accommodation. Take snacks and own soap! ”

“We loved the “open to the sky” shower with a big rain head fitting. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were amazing & really friendly and respectful. They use local produce really well. Wifi is complimentary in the Reception area but SAT20 per day otherwise. The pool area is beautiful and has its own “swimup” bar ”

“Spacious and extremely clean room but there is no enclosed shower or bathtub that makes the toilet floor all wet every time after shower. Overall nice and friendly hotel staff with good and immediate service. Food from the hotel is good especially salad, seafood and the fruit smoothies!”

“Staying in a fale overlooking the beach and ocean is an incredible experience I will never forget. Falling asleep to the waves crashing and star lit night sky was perfect. Mosquito net provided for the real deal. Takes 2-3 hours from the airport. Simple dinner and breakfast. Staff very warm and welcoming. Would recommend if you are after a simple but memorable experience ”

“We did have a silent night until the cleaners make noises but we told them it’s too noises outside while we try to take a nap but they answered back with nonsense behavior but my husband told her that he will inform the manager but she said go ahead. Poor service and unpleasant people need to hired people who know how to create people and welcome them with warmth welcome. But I hope this place will be better next time. ”

“I’ve stayed at the Lava Hotel and Taumeasina and this one beats both. So lovely and quiet. Away from the road and the rooms are far apart that you don’t notice your neighbour, great for someone/body that’s looking for a peaceful stay. Will definitely be back!! ”

“This was delightful hotel, a bit quirky and out of the way, but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and food tasty. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC and the menu updated as several choices were unavailable all week. That said, for a locally owned and run hotel it’s a bit of a gem and any faults forgiven as the staff are so good. Please visit!”

“Stayed in a beach Fales and was amazing. Right on the beach the sea underneath us at high tide. Back to basics loved the experience glamping the Samoan way. Star gazing and listening to the waves at night. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and watching the wildlife wake up. Good amenities and food was sort of ok. Would definitely recommend staying here on the beach. ”
