"We got a lecture at checkout about not eating everything on our plates from the free breakfast buffet, animals died and we didn’t eat every scrap. In a “pet-friendly” hotel we also were berated because our clean, beautiful Weimaraner puppy sat in a chair at the reception/checkout counter. Someone doesn’t need to be in the hospitality business. With many other options, we cannot recommend this slightly rundown hotel."

"Helpful staff, clean spacious room, restaurant with reasonable selection of good food. Good choice at breakfast buffet. Close to River Mosel could not see as Mway and buildings in way. On a main road. Good frequency of bus service to centre of Trier 6 km distant. Good value for money"

"My husband and I stayed at the Goldinger for 4 nights while visiting Landsthul , Heidelberg and Ramstein. The staff was extremely accomodating , especially helping us to get a taxi to the base for departure, The inn is so cozy! We will be back!"

"I had a clean, comfortable, charming room, which was kept well stocked with delicious teas and coffee (plus real dishes, a microwave and refrigerator, to make it even more homey). Staff was kind, welcoming and friendly. The whole place is lovely and the breakfast is outstanding. I truly enjoyed my stay here!"

"We stayed in the apartment across the street from the hotel. Very spacious and clean. Parking space ok. Breakfast in the hotel building, tasty and child friendly. Easy to reach from the autobahn. Quiet street located in the suburbs. Self-service kiosk also in the hotel building. Wi-Fi worked ok. COVID measures strict, so it was safe to be there. Nice and friendly staff that spoke to English as well."
