"Elif Star was a great small hotel for our and a friend's two night trip to see Cappadocia. The rooms were pleasant, the water was hot, the bed comfortable, and breakfast sufficient. Our hosts were welcoming. Right in Goreme but a block or two up from the busier downtown, the location was quiet and accessible. Kadir was very helpful and friendly. The weather did not cooperate for a balloon ride this time but it was good enough for sightseeing. We enjoyed shopping at Sultan's Charm for Turkish...

"I can't say enough about this property. The owner gave us a Capadoccia 101 when we arrived and were always ready to help. Breakfast was varied and generous. Rooms were clean and co fortable. The garden is pleasant. Uchisar is a good place to stay when you visit the area. Very pretty."

"If leaking sewer gas didn’t kill this room, it would’ve been one of the best stays ever! We even complained about the condition but they didn’t do anything or at least didn’t do enough to fix the issue. There are definitely some plumbing issues at this hotel. It’s otherwise a perfect hotel in a perfect location!"

"The property is located high on a cliff with a beautiful view of the Cappadocia region. The hotel is amazing, the room was excellent, clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable. The hotel decoration is high quality. Staff of the hotel is friendly and helpful, they try to do everything to make your stay smooth. The only downside is the restaurant.
