"this is an older hotel in a good spot with view of malecon and ocean on horizon, as shown in thumbnail picture. "Nice hotel in a convenient location, easy walk to city centre or to the waterfront promenade. The room was adequate and clean. The toilet did not flush, which was annoying. I did try to alert the reception but no one came to fix it. They apologised as we were checking out, and gave us some snacks to compensate. Breakfast buffet was ok, good selection of juice, eggs etc. "

"The room was not in the same building, but 2 blocks away. Staff did not help w luggage, walked very fast ahead of me. The room was beautiful, except the bed only had a mean, miserable box spring, no mattress. Manager agreed to switch me to another room, but it had the same bed issue. I got a refund and left. We had to walk back to the office so I just handed my suitcase to the young man, who looked very surprised but took it. "

"The room was very clean. There were bright green lights from the hotel right outside our window which kept the room bright all night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking area convenient. Area is less touristy and more local which we really enjoyed. Lots of delicious food in walking distance."
