"The staff were very slow in all interactions and the hotel was not well signposted from the car park (we didn’t know there was a casino). When we arrived we couldn’t find the reception to begin with. Once we did, check in was very slow - the staff member tried to charge me twice and failed to return my passport until I asked for it. "Georgous old building and the room was huge with 20ft ceilings. great bed and quiet which was surprising being next to main road. minor issue is the breakfast was alacarte not buffet and the waitress couldn't understand what filtered coffee was??? i will stay again"
