"Lovely old school hotel, set in the heart of The Rocks, fab king studio room, with rooftop views across to the Sydney Opera House. Ten minutes to circular quay and heaps of restaurants to choose from. Tayim restaurant is attached to the hotel and the food and service there is second to none. Eric’s bar to grab a happy hour beverage and sit in the lobby is really convenient. Recommend to anyone wanting to stay in The Rocks. "

"We had a great overnight stay at The Kinson. Our room (studio with balcony) was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and block-out curtains. The location was great, super close to public transport with trams into the city coming very frequently down St Kilda road. The only feedback for improvement is better lighting in the room which was very dim, especially as our balcony faced another building. "

"I like the Olson and stay every time I visit Melbourne. It is clean and staff are nice. I love the location which is a huge positive. All the rooms have a kitchenette as well. The hotel is looking tired. That’s not a big issue for me. However this is the second time that the room has been noisy and I haven’t been able to sleep. I am not sure whether it is current in some kind of air shaft or air conditioner, but there’s a constant noise. "

"Hotel was really good although the views were poor. Very industrial/commercial style bathroom with lots of stainless steel and spacious. Would have been good to have a window to open to allow ventilation and regulate heat/cold. All up a very chic place and worthwhile to stay as clise to everything."
