St. Lucia 503 is a lovely 2BR/2BA condo with Gulf Views in the St. Lucia building at the fabulous Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa! This 5th floor condo features a spacious open kitchen, dining area, and living room with floor to ceiling views. Both bedrooms have king beds plus balcony access, and the living room has a sleeper sofa, sleeping 6 guests comfortably. The master en suite bathroom boasts double sinks, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower. Relax on the extended balcony with gorgeous Gulf Views, watch the sunset on the beach, and enjoy all the amenities at this incredible resort! You’re sure to have a dream vacation at St. Lucia 503!

This place was PERFECT!!!
My son got martied on the beach and him and his brides family was her and stayed in St. Maarten. The super conveniance of having my own room but so close to them was perfect! I will stay in this same room everytime i come to destin if possible!

St. Lucia 503 at Silver Shells
Everything was clean and beautiful. Other than picking up some basics upon arriving, you don't need to leave the resort unless you want to. Plenty of excercise facilities, pools, equipment for tennis, basketball, and pickle ball can be picked up at guest services office. Great time! Family oriented. Nights are quiet at the resort. One of the king beds was less comfortable than the other if i had to note one less than perfect item.

My friend owns a condo in this development so I had stayed there before and was glad to see a unit available at this rental price. The beach is great and we found the unit to be nice. The jacuzzi tub (in the unit) did not work but not that big of a deal. I would still recommend this stay.

Lovely Condo by the Beach
This was our first time in Destin and we were blown away with the beaches and this resort. The condo was easy to find and the check-in directions given to us by RealJoy were easy to follow. We had a reserved parking space in the covered parking garage and there were carts by the elevator for easy unloading. The resort is right across from a Walmart and there is a Publix down the road, so it was easy to grab groceries and anything you may have forgotten. The condo was exactly as described and the beds were comfortable - plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed! Kitchen was fully stocked but you will need to bring all of your own spices/seasonings/oil, etc. If you run hot, just keep in mind that you cannot turn the AC below 70 degrees (but it was comfortable when we went in March). The private beach and pools were so nice!! Our 3 kids loved spending their morning at the beach and we would end the afternoon and evening by the (heated) lagoon pool. Temps were still pretty cool when we went (50s-mid 60s) but the kids didn't seem to mind at all! This condo isn't beach facing but it's literally a 5 min walk to it. We didn't do much aside from going to the beach and pool so didn't get to utilize all of the other amenities provided. We definitely plan on going back and look forward to our next visit!

Bed problem
In the guest bedroom one side of the mattress was broken. To sleep on that side would be sleeping in a hole. I called on Sunday morning and then said they would have someone come and look at it. No one came. I called Monday morning, same promise. Waited until afternoon then called again. Was told they were trying to get in touch with the owner. Around six I called again and told them I was going to call the credit card company and put a hold on their payment, and go to a hotel. They immediately sent two ladies there to turn the mattress and put three inches of foam under the mattress. Not comfortable but we made our with it the rest of the week. I wouldn't recommend this rental company.

First time in Destin
Silver Shells, St. Lucia, is a great place to stay! The pool is fabulous, and the beach is on the other side of the pool entrance. The beach was perfect--white sand and blue water! The Sand Bar has great food and awesome drinks. The girls working were polite and friendly. The guys working at the chair and umbrella rental hut were always super friendly and happy to help. I couldn't ask for more friendly people. Our condo was very clean, plenty of space for a family of five, and had everything that we needed. We could see the ocean from the deck, but the property is not beachfront. If there is one small thing that could be included would be maybe have a selection of some board games and maybe some card games. These sorts of things are difficult to pack when flying. Other than that, we loved our stay! Highly recommend!

First Time in Destin
We really enjoyed the condo itself, although initially we had a difficult time locating it (Google maps kept telling us to use Restaurant Rd, but we were unable to get in using this road). I did feel the listing was slightly misleading because the St. Lucia building is not directly beach front and actually has a better view of a parking lot and not the beach. Otherwise, we really did enjoy the condo and the pool.

The condo was great, had plenty of room and was in great condition. The only problem was that the refrigerator was not as cold as should be. We tried adjusting it with no success. We called property management. They sent someone promptly but they didn't fix it. But overall we loved the place and would definitely come back.

Great location! Unit could use some updates. Stains on carpet in bedroom- jacuzzi-knobs broken/stained. Didn’t even try to use it. But again, location good and the amazing sunset view was not obstructed up on the 5th floor. The grills were convenient & we love silver shells and its proximity to Ruth’s, the back porch, candymaker and the beach service of the Sandbar.

The unit was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Cleaning crew could have done a more detailed job between guests, but overall the unit was clean and comfortable. The Property Managers were attentive and quick to respond to inquiries/communication. We were a bit disappointed in the actual walking distance to the beachfront, as well as the overwhelming number of chair/umbrella set-ups, which crowded the beach. There was little room for beachgoers who chose not to rent the set-ups. The pool was unheated, and colder than the Gulf, which was at about 75 degrees during our visit.

Great place for a Destin stay
