The positive the staff was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there were some no shows for work so some of the staff worked overnight/long shifts and were still very pleasant. The restaurant connected to the hotel Gattara had a really delicious truffle pizza. The heated pool was really nice with a beautiful rooftop view especially at sunset. The negatives, why does every hotel want to be a resort. They call themselves a resort but only have a pool, gym and restaurant. I been to plenty of hotels that offer that and more and dont call themselves a hotel let alone have a resort fee and $300 deposit. Speaking of deposit no where on expedia does it say there was a $300 deposit. The resort fee is included in the cost you pay upfront but the deposit was not stated and we were shocked to when told we had to pay that plus the $900 plus cost of the room. We got a balcony room with a king bed. Not only was that not a king bed but the room was busted. Nicks, tears and scraps everywhere. From the headboard to the walls and the door covering the mini fridge was hanging off. The balcony was terrible it felt unsafe and the view was of a abandoned building with graffiti and a parking garage. Very thin walls. The pics on expedia DO NOT match what we had. The pictures are misleading! We got a free continental breakfast with our stay and I dont complain about free stuff normally but the worst continental breakfast ever. Overall for the cost not the best room and amenities.
