Million Dollar View Near Denver, Big West Skiing, and Countless Natural Wonders

No animals of any type allowed due to family allergies. Spacious home on 2.4 acres of a private section of Lookout Mountain with views from every room above 7,000 feet elevation. Owners live upstairs and lower level unit is self-sufficient. Guest parking for 2-3 cars with sidewalk to private entrance.
2,400 square foot apartment includes full laundry room, complete open kitchen/ bar, 2 decks, and great cell coverage.
The huge game room includes a 55" smart TV, full-size pool table, shuffle board table, foosball table and space to spare.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, huge walk-in closet, desk and work areas, a smart TV and full bath.
The second bedroom has 2 full-size beds, walk-in closet, a desk and reading area.
Well water is excellent for drinking.
Apex Park mountain biking and foot path just feet from your door. Red Rocks concerts, City of Golden and the town of Evergreen are only 10 minutes away.
Denver International Airport is a 40 minute drive.
Loveland, Winter Park and Arapaho Basin ski areas are all within an hours drive. Copper and Keystone are a little further, but doable.
Frequent wildlife sightings of deer, hummingbirds (in summer), elk, turkeys, and hawks, with the occasional coyote or black bear.
We allow 24-48 hours between bookings to fully clean, sanitize and restock the unit so that it will be perfect upon your arrival.

Forever Wouldn't Be Long Enough ...
Geri & Tom call it "The Million Dollar View" I could lookout upon that view a million times, & it still wouldn't be enough. My family & I are from the flat state of FL (our home is only 9ft above sea level) so the views from this property, were phenomenal & breathtaking! Mountain peaks (some still dotted with snow), the endless blue skies, green meadows, the shimmery dancing green aspens leaves, curious deer & various fluttering birds, accompanied by the perfect mountain air felt like a dream that had been calling me for as long as I can remember. The home is located right next to Apex Park (mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding trails), I am an outdoor/nature lover, so this was perfect for me. Every morning I went for a run by myself (I carried the bear spray because I'm from FL) but never felt in any danger because I'd always see other hikers, runners or bikers out too. My husband & teen daughter would join me for hikes mid-morning and evenings as well. There are many places to hike in Colorado, but when we'd look them up online, many were so similar to what was right there on property waiting to be explored. We went to see my favorite band play at Red Rocks (a bucket list venue)! My girls experienced snow for the 1st time when we took the cog train to Pike's peak. We saw bighorn sheep & 3 great grey owls at Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed all the games in the house. So much fun in downtown Golden! Don't miss out on booking this property, we never wanted to leave!❤

Million Dollar View Indeed!
Simply stunning views! We were greeted by hummingbirds feeding, as we arrived. The accommodations were spacious and well maintained. The best parts of the whole weekend were the beautiful sunrises that were simply spectacular. It was clean and very comfortable and the location is right in the middle of nature. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway!

Great view and host
Geri and Tom were great hosts. They were incredibly helpful and great communicators. The place was great. We were there as a group of friends and it was perfect for a guys weekend. It had lots of great games, it was really close to red rocks, and the view was incredible.

Great stay!
We had a great getaway weekend here! The location was beautiful, the amenities were perfect and the hospitality was the best we've had! It was such a nice treat to have breakfast fully stocked in the refrigerator when we arrived. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful property, comfy beds and pillows, game room with board games, DVDs, puzzles, pool table, Foozball, tabletop shuffleboard to keep you busy if the local outdoors isn't your thing. Plenty of trials nearby to hike without having to drive from the property. We got snow, so didn't hike but got to sled! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay on Lookout Mountain!
We had an outstanding experience at this home! The views of the mountains and the city lights below at night were amazing. The hosts were very responsive during our visit and helped us navigate the first snow of the season. Being from Texas, their help was truly valuable. We had at least 8-10 inches of snow, and it made the scenery even more beautiful. The hosts even shoveled and salted the sidewalk for us! As for the house, it was probably the most well-stocked VRBO rental we've visited. The hosts stocked the refrigerator with a number of items, and the pantry had a variety of snack items and spices. The dishes, glassware and cookware was also plentiful and nice. We came to Colorado for a wedding at the Boettcher Mansion, which was a short drive from the house, and was a beautiful venue. We stayed in for most of one day because of the snow, and enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard. We were able to visit a number of great local sites, including Golden, Idaho Springs and Boulder. Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater was maybe the highlight of the trip. We wanted to visit the Coors brewery, but unfortunately it was closed for maintenance the weekend we were there. Overall, we had a great time in Colorado and would recommend checking out this home and area.
