"Chris on pool deck- while he’s newer since we were last he is very kind nice and is always working hard. He gives all the guests smiles and communicates with the guests and assists them in their needs on the pool deck. He’s a nice addition to the shores. Diane- I can never say enough about this woman. After what should have been a 4 hour trip to Daytona we spent 12 hours total traveling and 10 just at airports being delayed, wrong cities as a detour. Our delivery order beat us by a few hours. I called the resort and told the staff. Ms Diane took control signed for our delivery and had it sent up to our room. We had been so stressed of the day of travel that walking into the shores and getting to see Ms Diane was enough to melt that stress with her always welcoming smile. She told us not to worry about anything she’d taken care of it all. I will always be so grateful that woman can take the darkest gloomiest day for anyone and turn it around. She’s so caring and loving to all the guests. Octavio one of many new managers we have met this trip is simply a nice addition to the shores. He will come out and is such a joy to be around. He is kind and helpful in any way he possibly can. Christian the newer food beverage entertainment manager, well new since we were last here fits perfectly with his department. He is very helpful not only to guests but to his own staff. The staff is always the main reason we continue to come to The Shores Resort and Spa. "

"Was a very slow check in, but they give you free drink tickets to their restaurant bar to use during happy hour. And the place is clean, has a huge pool area with dozens of chairs and tables to sit and eat, a bar near the pool, access to the beach, access to the restaurant, poolside bathrooms and a kids pool for the little ones. Just a great time all around. Will definitely keep going back. "

"We loved our room and stay but the parking is limited and the door was jammed our entire stay. We told the front desk, maintenance came, but it was never fixed. So we had to break into and out of our room all vacation. "
