“Our group of 5 had an above excellent stay over graduation weekend in May! The house was spotless, and well equipped with everything we needed (ample closet space with many hangers was a wonderful plus!). The beds were incredibly comfortable, the space was generous for spending time together (both levels), and the chefs kitchen was a dream to make brunch in. The neighborhood is quiet and lush, easy to navigate a walk around the lake. The views and deck are just as picturesque as the posting……

“The cottage house had a warm, welcoming vibe to it. It was very well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The home had everything available that you could possibly want. It was very cozy. We had relatives from Italy with us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it. “This place on Vrbo was great! I was worried about the comments that I had read about the house itself. The house was clean and had a very nice decoration. I had a bit of a problem finding the correct building and parking, but overall, I would stay here again, Ivette was a great host!”

“This house has an ideal location to see lots of local sites of interest in the Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie area. Easy trip from there to West Point, Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute from the location, and great restaurant, Tiramasu, is very close. The house is immaculate! The beds were very comfortable, linens were provided, the bathrooms were spacious and the five of us had plenty of room for our toiletries. The house has steps to its multiple levels for all essential rooms, not accessible.……

“Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. Wonderful area, close walk to beach and easy to get to downtown Fairfield and university. Very clean and welcoming! Greg was wonderful to work with and answered any question we had that came up both prior and upon arrival. The only thing we would mention……

“This was walking distance to the Total Mortgage Arena for our robotics competition. Having the full kitchen to cook meals was awesome. Nice comfy beds, plenty of space, I claimed the nook off the kitchen/dining area for myself. Boys had front room to work on their robot.”

“We had a very pleasant stay! We came for our son’s graduation from West Point. Pat was a gracious host and made sure that we had up to date info. There were lots of thoughtful amenities, the beds and couches were very comfortable, we used the grill and sat on the deck which overlooks a wooded hill. The location is peaceful and in the country just down the street from a horse pasture. You can hear the brook bubbling across the way. The WiFi worked great and although there is just a window air……

“This house and property are well appointed and very nice in all respects! The family room with the large, glazed overhead door is a great space (we had the door open during the day, and then closed it in the evening for dinner.) The deck overlooking Candlewood Lake has several nice seating areas, hot tub and fire pit. Down at the lake, there is another nice seating area (along with the dock and boat shed.) Everything was labeled with clear instructions for use (fireplace dampers, hot tub,……
