I had to switch rooms at 11:30pm. They really didn’t seem concerned about it. It was a huge inconvenience. The ice machine on my floor was broken. I could hear noise from the room next to me. I could hear them, their tv, the open and close their shades in the morning and at night.

I booked this property because it is close to SMU and I thought a dependable brand. The stay was ok but I wouldn’t return. The room was too warm and turning down the temp did not help. The room was dark which I assumed was to hide the fact the room needed updating or maybe cleanliness issues. The towels were like sandpaper.

Our room could benefit from better lighting at the door/closet area. We had to turn the light on in the bathroom when using the closet. The bathroom vanity was dated and the shower water pressure was low. The room did have a safe but no microwave. The hotel is mediocre and could benefit from some improvements.

We stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to shopping and restaurants while shopping. Liked the availability of garage parking because of threatening severe weather.
Disliked the fact that the lamp between the beds didn’t work correctly. The staff was not informed by Expedia that we amended our stay and locked us out of our room. Fortunately a manager was available to check records and reissue new key cards. If we were to stay in the future, I would want to be on a higher floor because of train noise.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
For the price the hotel was not up to par, it was old and rundown. Not the caliber of other Double Tree Hiltons. My wife stayed here earlier and had the same thoughts, and she was surprised I stayed here. Never again at the near $300 a night rate.

Good place, but needs some work. The views from your room can significantly vary depending on the room, and that needs to be made clear prior to booking, so that we can decide if we want to upgrade or not. Hotel room needs some repairs.

When we checked into our room, it had barbells, free weights, a stationary bike and half of the floor was dedicated to exercise. It was absolutely not what we had reserved. As a Hilton Honors member, I thought we would be treated better than that. The manager said they had no other rooms for us. We checked out and went to a different hotel!

Shower drain was clogged and the tub would fill up while taking a shower. Water didn’t get hot, maintenance said it was a boiler issue and it was fixed but never got hot after it was “fixed”. Everything else was okay but just a very average stay.

The made up rules by staff is crazy…
The room was nice but no microwaves in the room and no Landry place onsite. I was told we couldn’t sit in the lobby and eat or drink outside food. Although there was NO signs posted stating a guest that paid almost $500 can’t eat or drink outside food in the “Lobby” we were told to “TAKE IT UP WITH HILTON”. The guest staying in the room above us was loud and we couldn’t sleep. The black out drapes were awesome. All in all the stay I give it a 4 out of 10.
