“The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!”

“The property is located in a small neighborhood right by the water. While there are houses fairly close it is quiet with beautiful views. The house is clean and has good appliances/wifi for a comfortable stay. It is a one bedroom with a big bathroom and living room. The screened in patio is good to avoid the mosquitos. One note is for those with mobility issues, the shower/bathtub has a high ledge with a thicker width to get in/out.”

“I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.”

“We had a great stay here - the home was clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen was very well stocked and great access to the river. The teens loved being able to step right outside and fish. Good fishing too! We had rainy weather yet that didn't stop us from having a great time. Dan is excellent and timely with his communications too. Hope to return here this summer!”

“Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.”

The home was clean and comfortable with all of the little extras you might need when traveling or you may have forgotten. The design of the home was a great use of space and really cozy beach vibes. The porch and backyard areas were a fun surprise and my little dog did not want to leave the porch. Colonial Beach has many great restaurants and home has convenient access to beautiful river beaches and bayside……

“This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!”

“This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Nice updated small house, great location on the water. Great bird watching...saw many bluebirds and eagles in addition to many water birds. Hot tub was great. Note that road to house is gravel and hilly...not good if you have a low clearance car such as a corvette. Our sedan handled it no problem.”

“My daughter (age 21) and myself stayed at this home for the past few days. We had such a lovely time! The house is beautiful and Diana has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. The house has a wonderful layout and a comforting vibe. Out of all the vacations we have taken, we were the saddest to leave this place lol and we are already making our next plans to come back! I loved the little goodies Diana has for sale around the house that makes it convenient and also goes to a wonderful……

The sunroom with the view of the water was amazing and nice and toasty for our winter getaway. “This home is perfect for multiple families to meet. Two bwdrooms on one aide of the house and another bedroom across the house all on the main floor. Two additional bwdrooms upstairs and three bathrooms. Everyone was comfortable and had privacy and the best part was the house was really quiet. We couldn't hear people walkaround above us. The wings are separated by a huge living room with couches, games, books and a huge dining table. Charming! There is a spectacular view of the water and the……

“It was great: clean and spacious with friendly staff. Unfortunately. our microwave started smoking. I was standing right there, waiting for the 20 second reheat. I immediately unplugged it and reported it to the front desk in person. I was told it would be replaced or we would be moved, Neither happened. I left it unplugged when we checked out. I hope it is fixed before a fire occurs.”
