“Beautiful pastoral setting. Guest room was comfortable with great bed. Wonderful decor in the breakfast room upstairs, and the food was great. Hosts were very engaging, sharing info on the neighborhood and the Roman wine-making process, which is their award-winning specialty. Nearby winery restaurant Quinta da Quetzal was amazing!”

“The staff were lovely. Rooms spacious and clean. Pool area very nice with a bar area. A lovely little dog called Lilly lives there. Breakfast was very good. The area around it was undergoing some work, but I think that is very typical of Portugal I would go back. ”

“A casa é boa, tem teoricamente tudo o que se pode desejar, mas fica aquém do que se espera de conforto pelo preço que se paga. Tem 3 suites mas efectivamente só uma é que é um quarto confortável. O quarto que fica fora tem o telhado com muitas falhas e o quarto que fica no primeiro andar (tem umas escadas com degraus altíssimos e “a pique”) tem uma casa de banho com um lavatório mínimo e o autoclismo ao fim de 3 dias deixou de carregar água. A cozinha é pouco funcional e nas fotografias parece……

“We stayed at The Greenhouse in September 2023 (sorry for late review) and oh my goodness what a treat! We arrived to a very sleepy village and spent a while driving in circles but when we eventually entered in to the beautiful oasis we didnt want to leave. It is absolutely beautiful! We were shown to our room (apartment really) which was just gorgeous. The decor is outstanding, every tiny detail is taken care of and it is clear such great care has been taken in the refurbishment of this gorgeous……

“Our third stay at this property and the magical authenticity of the property still persists. The area is quiet with everything to hand plus with the added benefit of the beautiful Alentajo countryside. The hose is superb with everything you need and wonderful gardens.”

“We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc.”

“Le séjour à été agréable. L'accès au site est quelque peu difficile car pas de route à proprement parlé on peut plutôt parler de chemin. Cependant après avoir traverser cela vous vous retrouvez sur un site calme où le repos est de mise. L'accueil est très agréable et de très bon conseils. Le petit déjeuner est du "fait maison" c'est un délice! Si vous souhaitez du repos il faut aller là!”

“ha encantado el entorno, rodeado de almendros, la otra vez que estuvimos no estaban plantados, es ideal para dar un buen paseo por los alrededores de la casa. La casa está muy bien. Tiene 5 habitaciones con sus baños cada habitación y su máquina de aire frío calor. Nos encanta y la dueña es muy amable. En un futuro volveremos seguro.”

“Sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand und trotzdem in Spaziergangnähe zu Restaurants, Burg und Ortszentrum. Toller Pool und vom Garten Blick auf die Burg und die Umgebung. Topunterkunft!”
