“My partner and I stayed here while we hiked the nearby trails. Pretty central to everything, which we really liked! The check-in process is at a kiosk in the lobby and someone checks you in via zoom. I didn't find it to be inconvenient at all. If you need assistance outside of that, there is someone available to come to the lobby as well. The mattress was a little hard but it's a clean place to stay and great for if you're just in the area for the good views and trails and need a place to……

“The room was clean , but it looked like the door had been forced open at some point, the area around the door jam had been repaired. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. I had no problem staying there and I would stay there again if I get back that way. ”

“This is not your local Holiday Inn, but it does the task at hand. If you are looking for a safe place to lay your head, take a shower, and other facilities this is just the place. Initial check-in was brief and polite. Our room was freshly prepped for us and perfect for what we needed. Quick overnight stay to shower and use running facilities. ”

“Aneka couldn’t be a better host. The loft had one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, which came with farm fresh eggs! The hens that laid them were right outside the window. We brought our pups who enjoyed the yard when the chickens were in their coop. The house is minutes away from the beach and redwoods. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was quite relaxing!”

“Great location. We were only there for a quick trip this time, but we come to the redwoods every year and plan to book this place again.”

“Just a couple of suggestions... it was challenging to make a simple pasta dinner as there wasn't a colander and no oven mitts that I could find. Not very many dishes, including no wine glasses that I could find. The bathroom door unlatches and opens from the draft of the front door being opened.”

“This was a great home base, walkable to the Harbour with lots of amenities. The only unfortunate thing was the traffic. The bedroom is right above 101 and you hear braking and accelerating cars all night long. The owner does everything he can to minimise the noise with earplugs and a white noise machine, but we weren’t able to sleep much. If noise doesn’t bother you, this is a great find, definitely worth the price.”
