"Beautifully located on one of the many lakes in the area. Literally on the water! Close access to restaurants, food and gas. Walking distance to the resort for the pool and hot tub. Cabin was exactly the same as the pictures in the listing. Highly recommend!!!"

"This property is so well-maintained. It is so cute. It was very relaxing. The lake and pier and beach is just a small walk away and water is wonderful. Our dogs had a great time chasing chipmunks and playing in the water. We would definitely stay here again."

"The retreat was exactly as pictured and as described. It was incredibly cleaned and stocked with any and everything that we needed, that we may have forgotten, including a first aid kit. The extra surprise was the plunger in the bathroom, which gave us a great laugh. Loved it and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was relaxing and peaceful and that’s exactly what we needed."

"This property is our heaven on earth! The fishing was great, even with 2 rainy days we still enjoyed these outdoors. The 100 year old white pines provided enough shelter even sit outside protected from the rain. I feel like part of the family enjoying the family pictures and homey feel this cabin provides. We brought everything we needed so we didn’t need to leave at all! We were all sad to leave. Can’t wait til the next time!"

"The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. "The cabin was just adorable and the owner was gracious enough to provide a welcome basket of goodies and supplies. The only problem we encountered, which was absolutely not a huge deal for us, was that the WiFi password was not provided. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking. Also to be noted, the cabin is VERY VERY secluded. Being a woman with 2 small...
