"I’m a mom of three kids, and told my husband that all I wanted for Mother’s Day was a night to myself, full of self care and good sleep. This cozy cottage was more than I ever expected. I loved the antiques incorporated into the decor and farmhouse feel. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor environment was charming and inviting. The hostess was communicative and kind."

"Hummingbird House is clean and spacious, and has pretty much everything you need. The views are very pretty and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy--with decking on three sides and lots of outdoor furniture and three sets of sliding doors. The only negative I would mention is that the laundry room is on the other side of the bedroom wall, so you can hear the washing machine when it is running and it was somewhat loud. Also, there is no TV, but if you want to watch TV (as we did) a laptop...

"The home is in a great location. All of the utensils needed were in the kitchen. All of the rooms were very clean and ready for our stay when we arrived. Check in was extremely easy. The hosts were helpful and answered questions in a timely manner. We had a wonderful experience."

"Stayed to visit family in the area. Very easy access to area roads, groceries, fuel, restaurants. The "theme" for the rental was an extra bonus because my spouse rebuilds cars - so we enjoyed that as well. It was the perfect place."

"Five stars is not enough to rate how kind and generous our hosts were to us. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and it was clean throughout. Communication was excellent, describing every detail on how to operate lights, locks, hot tub, and thermostat. We enjoyed great views and walks. Fresh eggs were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the cottage for a secluded getaway. Thank you George and Rebecca!"

"Heron Cottage was the best VRBO experience we have had to date. The house was immaculate as and up to date. We usually feel like we have to clean the dishes before we use them in most rentals, but Heron Cottage was so well maintained that we didn’t think twice about using the right of the shelf. The home was extremely comfortable. The A/C is efficient and super quiet. There house is extremely quiet. We slept with the windows open and were never bothered by noise. It truly is a wonderful...

"A little small but it was okay since we mainly just slept here. There was enough beds for everyone including extra thick mattress for another person to sleep on if needed. The owners do live on property but they gave us our privacy. Any interactions we had with them were very friendly. Remote location with nice views but close enough to town. And a lot of extra amenities and little freebies. Made us feel very welcome!!!"

"The smell of the many trees surrounding the property was invigorating. While there are neighboring properties within eyesight, and the owners live on site, our experience was very peaceful. From what the owner told me upon our arrival Spring might be the best time to visit when everything is blooming. The grounds had a Wintertime dead look while we stayed over Christmas. The unit was comfortably furnished, and wood was provided for the stove. The only negative thing I have to say about the terms...

"This place was private, quiet, roomy and on a lovely property. It was centrally located in the heart of Apple Hill. I was able to come and go with no issues and I loved that they had a full kitchen I could utilize. It was a little off the beaten path but still close enough I could easily access restaurants and local shopping. The owners were such a delight and very kind. I would 100% stay there again and plan to in the future! "

"The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag. "

"The property was beautiful. Everything yoiu would need was provided. It was off the beaten path so very quiet and woodsy. Our group of 9 were high school buddies (50 years ago) having our yearly golf trip. Several golf courses within 15 min and after a round of golf in the warm weather, the pool was a life safer. Everyone staying there said the accomodations were beyond their expectations."

"This location is very tucked away deep into a hilly little neighborhood. The driveway is steep for nervous drivers but for us it was perfect. The house was clean and well-kept. The bathroom was large for the space. We attended a wedding very close to the location so it was convenient."
