“Staff was friendly. Room was nice. Parking was easy.”

“This property was way more than I expected. Beds and decor had been upgraded and rooms were so clean. The bathrooms were still in need of a updating, but they were super clean and all the little amenities were available (lotion, shampoo & plenty of makeup remover wipes which I had forgotten). The best thing about this place was the people. Mary was so sweet and thoughtful when she checked us in and Dennis was ever the gentleman in the office and at the breakfast the next morning. “Clean room comfortable bed ”

“The staff was great, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. My only complaints would be the door to our room was difficult to open and also the bathroom door would get caught on the bathroom floor so you would have to push to open it. My family and I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great place for a father and son hunting trip! Perfectly located near tons of public hunting land and lake access! The deck and fire pit were our nightly reminiscing spot and perfect for star gazing and quiet! The house has all you could ask for for a perfect family getaway! Hope to be back soon!”

“This house had both lots of charm of an older home along with nice updates as well. It has a great location that leaves you close to restaurants and other things in town. There are clear instructions on anything that is needed in the home, along with information on restaurants to visit and other things to do. The host was extremely fast in his communication and was very easy to work with. You get tons of house for a small price tag. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!”

“Great cabin! Quiet and very Beautiful. Lovely decor and well stocked. Really enjoyed the firepit outdoors. The hot tub could have been a little cleaner and heat up more. The indoor fireplace was not in working condition so that was disappointing. Wish the back deck was covered, would have enjoyed grilling there instead of on the front porch. Also we could have got a little more use of the hot tub since it rained a few days. Overall we enjoyed our short getaway! Thanks so much!”

“Very clean place to stay. Quiet county rental away (but not far) from closest towns. 20 minutes to Holmes Bend Marina, 10 minutes to Ramp 1 @ Green River. We enjoyed our entire time at Dorothy’s Retreat. Everything you need is there and the property owners are very responsive and so kind. Thank you Travis and Tena for allowing us to stay at Misty’s Bottom.”

“The pictures of the property on here are beautiful but seeing it in person is amazing. We spent so much time on the deck in awe of the view everyday. Because of all the amenities provided for the lake we were able to have fun right away with kayaking and fishing. There is also a deck with a ladder for swimming. It was so serene and made us feel connected with nature again. The property feels safe with a large gate and lock keeping the entry to the drive secure and a large front yard for the kids……

“This cabin was gorgeous and was perfect for out of town family members visiting for a wedding! My family occupied 3 out of the 4 cabins and each one slightly different, but perfect! They are even stocked with every thing you need, including cookware, coffee and seasonings! The hot tub was definitely a bonus. Only suggestions we have are to add hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms so clothes and towels can hang. And also add a small dresser in the bunk bed room that doesn't have a closet. And, the……
