"Friendly staff, beautiful views, lounge with bar serving till 1:00 am. Breakfast and setting are top quality. The location also worked out perfectly for me as it is docked right in front of my meeting building. One night, the staff also accommodated a dinner on board with my 16 meeting attendees. The dinner price was reasonable. Everyone enjoyed it. The room was not big but comfortable for me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. "

"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"Check in was easy, room was ready early! Room was large size, bathroom too. Bed was comfortable. Shower was small and shower-head was not working well, would not stay in place. blow dryer stopped after a few minutes. Room was quiet at night. There is no A/C in the room, but had large windows - you can open Breakfast was included and very good. Location is next to Cathedral and Train Station - very short walk. You can see Cathedral! Overall - good stay."
