"This has to be one of the cutest cottages in Texas. Came in for the EEI truck show. We had the best time ever and staying at this cottage put the cherry on top. Beautiful place. Everything we needed and more and let me just say that the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be booking again. "

"It was very quiet and beautiful setting. Easy to find but last stretch was a gravel road but ok I am 85 and didn’t feel safe to take a shower. No handle bars. And friend with me had trouble turning the shower on. I did like the window unit in the bedrooms. Kept really cool on that hot night. Bed was very comfortable. "

"We came to visit relatives for a few days. The Ducks Nest was a perfect place to stay. We loved the view of the lake and drank morning coffee on the deck every morning. Watching turtles, ducks and other wildlife was a treat. Plenty of room and very clean. The Host was always available with suggestions for places to visit and eat. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend others to stay."

"This cottage was an unexpected gem! We have traveled all over the country for baseball with our family of 5. Hotels are a challenge because one child is stuck on a couch or blowup mattress. This cottage had 4 beds upstairs that were very comfortable for the kids. We were able to cook breakfast for ourselves in the full kitchen. "Just the right size for my husband and I. Came in for the art show in bryan. Price was very reasonable and we asked for an extended checkout time, which they happily accommodated. Bed was comfortable and AC worked nicely as i do like it cold at night. Area is very quiet and peaceful and close to A&M but away from the congestion. Would definitely recommend."
