"The cabin is very nice and has a cozy atmosphere. There is only two things that needs to modification. The front door lock would not lock the door when leaving. So valuables were kept in our car. The front door made of glass panels, doesn’t have any coverings of either blinds or drapes. Which left no privacy to the living room area. Second area was the toilet. We truly only had to buy food and drinks during our stay. There were games and books to entertain a 2 year old in between outings. "This house was adorable! The quiet neighborhood, peaceful water view, and quaint location was a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend for this momma. My only drawbacks were the missing blinds to a glass windowed side door, which would have been appreciated for more privacy, and a hurting neck for the next few days. I recommend bringing your own pillow. Overall, we had everything we needed for a recuperating retreat and we hope to visit again!"

"We picked Ellijay for a 3 day weekend for a quick getaway and somewhere that my husband could mountain bike. This was a perfect spot for us. The property is very well kept. The cabin is well stocked, had everything we needed, as is the RV camper. There is a large fire pit with plenty of wood. The little stream and bridge are a cute addition and you can relax in hammocks or the swing next to the stream. There's an extra building which I don't know what it is but it reminded us of a little old...

"This is a great place to stay for a couple. It’s a small property but the scenery and layout is beautiful. The compost toilet was something new to my wife and I but it wasn’t hard to use. If you and your significant other are looking for somewhere to stay I’d definitely recommend this place. The host is also very accommodating and easy to contact."

"We absolutely loved everything about this property and our stay here, we were there for 4 nights. Its newly renovated and in great shape. Large back yard for our small dog to use. Easy to find and access. Its very close to the heart of downtown Dayton.
