"We couldn't have had a more positive experience! The apartment was extremely well equipped with lots of little extras and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. The neighborhood is very enjoyable, good restaurants, galleries, shops, and an awesome little ice cream place across the street. An easy drive to Longwood Gardens, Brandywine Museum and other interesting places. Our hosts were fabulous. One evening a smoke detector battery ran low and started beeping and they were here in minutes to replace...

"The place was as advertised and was perfect for our weekend. We were in town for a wedding nearby and the location out us about 10 minutes from the wedding venue and also to the hotels where others were staying. Only complaint is that it is close to railroad tracks and a road so bring a white noise machine to drown out the sounds at night."

"The property was clean, easy to access, and the host was easy to communicate with. The toilet didn’t work upon arrival, so we had maintenance in and out during our stay to fix it. There was also no fire pit in the backyard as is advertised in the photos in this listing."

"Our stay in Bear was very nice. The apartment was well stocked and very clean. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and my wife enjoyed jogging in the morning. Plenty of access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies/convenience stores. Uber trips to UD were also convenient and it was a 15-20 ride to campus. We would stay here again."

"1. The room was not like the picture. 2. It is basically a small motel with um, unusual guests and a shared bathroom. 3. The air conditioner would not turn on properly. 4. The owner was communicative and nice, so that was a positive. "

The teflon skillet and spatula need to be replaced because the teflon is coming off in the pan and the spatula looks like it has been melted. Both are a health hazard. 2. The cabinet to the right of microwave is coming off its hinges and needs tightened. 3. The vent by the furnace is filthy and is caked with dust. 4. The lid to the garbage can is filthy. 5. "Great location near White Clay Creek park. Pictures of the deck and grill were deceiving since they are not easily accessible from rental unit (walk on steep sloped lawn with no walkway, climb stairs and located right outside of owners living room). Smoke from upstairs drifted into downstairs rental unit. I closed all the ceiling vents and it helped. My fault for not checking that there was no dishwasher. Be aware of excess fees in total price."

"14 of us stayed here for a secluded bachelorette weekend in nature and it was truly a dream come true. The home is beautiful and comfortable for a large group, it didn’t even matter that it rained the entire time! We even canceled some of our day plans to stay and enjoy the house. The only minor down side was the water heater struggled keeping up with 14 woman’s daily hygiene needs. Overall, everything was so wonderful and Eric was very pleasant and accommodating.
