This hotel will be nicer once everything is complete but they are mid major renovations. The main entrance (which is the only one that opened without a key) was randomly blocked off due to them working on the front of the building. All of the other doors were locked and would not open even with our keycard. We had to wait outside for guests to come and let us in over 10 times during our stay (which took forever because nobody was staying there lol ). When we went to the pool we had the honor to walk down the plastic carpet, it was almost like a slip and slide when we left. The room was nice but the construction was a huge bummer and a major inconvenience. Staff was pleasant but didnt really acknowledge the massive construction taking place lol. The pool and hot tub were ok but could use a pressure washing, fresh coat of paint and some new lounge chairs… they had 2 fabric dining room chairs. The single occupant bathroom doors couldnt close (at all).

The hotel is in renovation so it is not in pristine condition even as the staf do their best to make it comfortable. The problem is that the management is adding restrictions to a poor situation as having I'll g plastic bed mattes coverings ,which make the bed unusable since every move is a noise and the bed became hot fast. Also the " breakfast" is a sad joke if even that, they offered a large selection of just one yogurt. That's just plain false advertising. And is the management fault.

No indication that they whole building was onder renovation sign on door indicated that doors would be secured at 8pm but was left proped wide open till 10pm checked in at noon and the gal at the counter had a terrible attitude almost like we were inconvenience to her. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it definitely needed the up grades rooms look great!

The remolding of the hotel is excellent. The showers are modern clean and big.!! Beds are nice and comfy!! The only thing wrong is there was no ice maker on the second floor.

First impression was not good, we were greeted with construction all around hotel. Kind of a horror at first. However, our stay was actually good. The staff were informative and helpful, we received new towels everyday, even when we asked to not clean our room while we were gone. We appreciated the thought. However, we had no small towels. We were given 3 towels at first, but front desk were able to provide an extra towel. Also, the complimentary breakfast was a light-breakfast set up— bagels, cereal, coffee etc. We really didn’t expect any to be honest. The parking was ok, we got lucky to find spots close to entrance. The room was clean, I checked for bed bugs, which I do for all stay anywhere, and found none. They even had what seems like new mattresses. The sheets were stiff and clean enough. I used my own disposable bed covers, which I also use for all my stay anywhere. The pillows were my least favorite because they were too small and dull. The water was fine too, we had no issues there. The bathroom was clean. The TV worked in the am only, one night it didn’t have cable, but we really didn’t need it since WiFi worked well when we used other devices. We were only here for a short 2 night stay, and what we expected was better than what most people said about the place. It’s a decent stay, not the best at the moment. It has potential to be a better stay when conditions change after the remodeling.

Was pleasantly surprised with my room. Very clean and bathroom was beautifully updated. There was a fridge & microwave for convenience. Didn’t have a hair dryer though but since I was staying only 1 night, it wasn't as issue . Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chino Hills.
