"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"This was a secure ryokan with only 3 rooms on the top floor. We could store our luggage there before our check in and for a few hours after checkout, which was really helpful. Toilet upstairs near the room but shower in the onset area (spa not traditional onset). But noisy with creaky floor at night. "Its a very quiet, beautiful spot close to stations to travel to hakone and the baths were lovely! Its nice to walk around the area. The man running the hotel spoke english pretty well, my non japanese speaking friend had no issues at all. "Not sure why info says it sleep 7 but hotel only allows 4 (only 4 single beds, no sofa bed). Confusing which room you get but we booked for 12 family and stayed at room B, D, E. Room D is spacious, room B, I like the set up and spacious enough, Room E had no space at all specially if you have luggages. Overall, we liked our stay. Reviews stated it was unmanned hotel but there is security code to get in lobby and to get in our room. There’s a Family Mart right below us which is very convenient....

"It was about 15 minutes walk from Odawara train station. There’s many steep stairs to third floor outside of building. We stayed Carol room for 8 nights which is next to Dada room. This Dada room’s bed(couch) attaches to the wall of Carol room. Walls are thin and noise like TV and talking on the phone kept us awake every night. Air conditioner/heater wasn’t working properly. The description indicates TV in living room but there’s no TV. Toilet was a bit old and smelly. Will not stay again. "

"初めて宿坊に宿泊 写経や瞑想ができます。 朝はお祓いをすると講中安全の守り札を授けてくださいます。 内風呂、露天風呂もあり（浴衣の柄は選べます。ボディーシャンプー、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ブラシ、綿棒、バスタオル×１、手ぬぐいタオル×１あり、垢すりなし＝宿泊用を持って行って正解） 夕食や朝食は大山の豆腐料理をとても美味しくいただきました。 ただ一つ冷蔵庫がありませんでした（アンケートに記載しました） 周辺には飲料の自販機がありますが、コンビニはありません（部屋には温かいお茶あり） それを知っていたので、オヤツは下山時にこま参道で芋ようかんや餅まんじゅうを購入。 また宿に向かう下り坂の途中に良弁まんじゅうのお店があり単品で購入。美味しくいただきました。 お陰様で素敵な大山参りができました。 また機会があれば泊まりたい宿坊です。 （Expediaで予約できる大山の宿坊は今のところココだけかも知れませんね） ありがとうございます（感謝）"
