“This place met our needs. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you might need for a short stay. However, the sink In the bathroom is tiny and water goes everywhere. There was absolutely nowhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. I had to use the table outside of the bathroom. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.”

“The Casita is a roomy studio in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and Bidwell Park. It was a good location for our activities.”

“Nice place for a short visit. Excellent yard for a dog. Comfy bed, wonderful bathtub, small but functional kitchen, great heating/cooling, love the electric car plug in, perfect parking, and great neighborhood. Property managers are excellent. Things for the owner to consider are noise from washer and dryer and smell. I think you had some smokers stay and the smell really lingers.”

“We had the most amazing and relaxing weekend in Nevada City thanks to Lorrie and her lovely hospitality. She is the best host! This was the cleanest, beautiful little home we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Everything is modern, comfortable and perfect. Stay here if you want a serene getaway with every amenity. There was a lovely welcome basket with muffins and fruit and a very sweet note waiting for us when we arrived. Every communication with Lorrie and her husband……

“I brought a couple teens and my small dog out for a bicycle race. The place was easy to find and perfect for us as it had a place where the kids could prep their bikes for the morning and a yard where my little dog could walk around after a long drive. The neighbor’s dog/s are loud when something sets them off tho. Aside from that, the house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking dinner and getting a good night’s sleep before bfast and off to the races. As the title states: short and……

“The house was amazing. We will definitely be staying again.”

“The room was comfortable. I didn't notice on the property listing that a TV was not one of the amenities listed. I was there for a week for work and was not looking forward to being without a TV in the evenings. All it took was a text to the owner and a TV was delivered and set up in my room. I was very appreciative! So just be aware there is normally no TV. There were a couple of other issues - no iron in my room and I didn't have any way to adjust the cooling system. Neither of these things……
