"Only a short overnight stay as visiting relatives in the area. Lovely Hotel Setting and breakfast very good. Staff all very attentive and helpful. Parking easy. Highly recommend. Not cheapest but worth it."

Nice but noisy
"Lovely old building and the staff are wonderful. I found it very noisy, my room overlooked a car park and with no double glazing I was woken by people leaving and the bottle bank being emptied before 7am."

Oct 12, 2018There is no parking at the George and Dragon but there is a long stay carpark at north gate which is very close. Free after 8pm but you have to be back at 8 am to top it up! That gives you an appetite for breakfast though
