"After the disaster that was a booking under false pretences by the management of the Brisbane Quarter, I was left floundering as the clock approached midnight and I was almost left on the street…or sharing with strangers in a facility free dorm.
Luckily shortly before the midnight hour, I was able to locate Capri by Fraser around a 1km walk away. What a wonderful hotel and saviour from a night on the streets.
After the check-in process resulting from using the hotels.com APP just a few minutes before and I was handed my key to the palatial room on level 6…with a bottle of champagne so I could drown away the bitter taste of the management at the Brisbane Quarter hotel dorm.."

"Very comfortable and friendly property! Had an element of hostel living while maintaining the privacy of individual rooms. I was worried about the lack of a dead bolt on the front door as I was a frmale travelling alone but there were no incidences that made this especially worrying.
The downside was the lack of amenities. I had to purchase my own shampoo and body wash as I didn't bring any, thinking the property will have them. So please bring your own toiletries.
Highly recommended for the convenient location and helpful staff."

"We had a twin room overlooking the Botanic Gardens and stayed three nights. The hotel was clean with nice bar area, swimming pool and good restaurant. The only criticism I could make was the windows of our room needed cleaning so we could then get a better view of the gardens."
"Very professional staff, tidy and well presented hotel and grounds and super comfortable bed! Only thing that put a dampener on the stay was the buffet breakfast - all the hot food was stone cold."

"Clean, spacious room and a comfortable bed. Front desk staff were very helpful. Dining room breakfast service was a little disorganised but we enjoyed our stay none the less"

"We were only there for a quick overnight stay so did not need anything else other than a bed really. Reception was fabulous despite a very busy time for them.
Had to go get enough towels so we didn't have to share and the bathroom sink was disgustingly dirty. "
