Nestled in the tree canopy just steps to dock with Jet Ski parking and boat tie up. Full Kitchen with counter/bar, living room and gas log fireplace. 2 minutes to main channel. Upgraded Washer/Dryer

Perfect Location! 💚
We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area.

Fantastic
We travel south a lot. For 20 years my wife has mentioned going to Lake Norman every time we pass by. I planned a surprise trip for our anniversary and John was fantastic to accommodate. Everything was just as described and this location is absolutely perfect for a two person get away. We will definitely be coming back for future stays.

Just what we were looking for!
My family and I really enjoyed our time here. We were looking for a nice quiet getaway on the lake, and Azalea Cottage gave us exactly that. Each morning, we were able to enjoy our coffee down by the water and each evening, we enjoyed our dinner on the deck. We definitely recommend this location and will be back! John was a pleasure to meet and a great host.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Azalea Cottage on Lake Norman in Mooresville. The cottage was perfect to celebrate our anniversary and birthday. The view of the lake was beautiful as is the area. We recommend Epic Chop House and King Canary Brewery. John was very nice and responsive.

We had a very relaxing weekend on Lake Norman. The house is in a great location and has everything you need. We brought our kayaks and launched them from the dock. We also enjoyed fishing from the dock. John was a great host - very friendly and quick to answer any questions.

This cottage was perfect for a weeks stay at Lake Norman! All modern amenities, an unbeatable view of a quiet part of Lake Norman and close to everything! My boyfriend and I just returned from a very relaxing week staying at this lovely 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom cottage on Lake Norman. The property was very clean and welcoming upon our arrival, including a spacious deck and access to 2 docks. We had a great view of the lake on a quiet cul-de-sac. The cottage was fully equipped with a kitchen, washer / dryer, and high speed WiFi that enabled us to work from the property. John was a great host. I highly recommend this property for your next relaxing vacation with a beautiful lake view!

Cute Cottage for a Lake Escape
Cute as a button and sparkling clean, yet compact, this adorable cottage was the perfect place to soak up the peaceful beauty of Lake Norman for a 3-day weekend. The owner, John, who lives right next door, couldn't have been more welcoming or eager to please. Some basic food essentials (including coffee, sugar, creamers, teas, and a few spices and cooking oil) were provided, as well as the necessary cleaning and bath products. Both the bed and sleep sofa were comfortable, and there was an abundance of clean, fluffy towels and linens to choose from. But without a doubt, the incredible view from the deck was the reason we will come back for a return visit. We were delighted by front row seats to the most spectacular sunset as we ate our grilled salmon on the deck making it very hard to leave Tuesday morning. Thanks for bring such an accommodating host, John, and we look forward to the next time!
