“The newest hotel in Alexandria and a convenient location. The front desk clerk greeted me cheerfully, even though it was after midnight. Breakfast in the morning is convenient but somewhat limited, good for families perhaps. ”

“Rooms could be sanitized better. Room smell stuffy. Could use remodeling. Cleaner rooms that smell fresher. Pool is wonderful warm. Hot tub is nice kids play ares is fabulous restraunt is converted. Free meals for kids a plus.”

“We had an amazing stay here for a long weekend celebration of friendship and sisterhood! The atmosphere was lovely and the accommodations had everything that we needed. It was great being so close to downtown, but also having a (mostly) quiet neighborhood. The race track was loud from 6:30-10:30 on Saturday and Sunday night for the holiday weekend. Other than that, it was a very peaceful experience. We want to make this trip an annual tradition!”

“Lake Latoya is a wonderful lake. So clean. We enjoyed using the large yard to run energy out of our 3 year old grand daughter. Cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen for utensils. As stated in the description you need to bring all of you kitchen groceries, all the way down to salt and pepper. 😁 Would go back again in a heart beat! Thank you for sharing…….let us know if you ever want to sell.”

“From beginning to end Carolyn and Jose were great hosts. They always responded almost immediately, and were so accommodating. The house was absolutely beautiful and had something for everyone. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone who wants a fun and relaxing getaway on a beautiful lake.”

“A perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet peaceful lake. Kayaking. Biking. Go for a walk. It was everything we were looking for. We will definitely be back.”

“Very spacious and well equipped. The highlight was the beach/swimming area. We brought a Lily Pad which entertained the kids for hours and hours each day. (There is a brochure in the house for a local place that rents Lily Pads.) The major downside is that the property abuts Interstate 94 (with a buffer of trees), so there is a lot of highway noise, which we were able to mostly ignore.”

“The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and……

“Very nice home on beautiful Victoria Lake peninsula! Home is clean and roomy! It was perfect for our group of 12! The owner and property manager were there if we needed anything! Just wish we could have stayed for a week! :-)”

“Our stay at Darling Lakeview was perfect ! The house was exceptionally clean and our host provided everything we needed . We had a weekend of delicious food , wine and even dessert. We all loved the abundance of natural light that all the windows allowed and the cozy fireplace in the evening. Thanks again for a fantastic stay !! :)”
