This house is amazing and just as described in the listing. Upon arriving we found a few thing that were either missing or damaged. Andrew was right on getting things fixed for us . He was AMAZING to work with right from the time of our booking until the end of our trip. The house pool and hot tub were a great addition for all of us. The resort pool and bar area are very nice and very clean. We had a wonderful stay . The area is great as well, stores are within a reasonable distance for whatever you may need. We would definitely book this house/ resort/area again for a family vacation. My siblings and I went on this vacation as a tribute to my parents who both passed away and were so glad we chose this property. I would give it and Andrew 10 stars if i could. Highly recommended!!!

This home is beautiful. Clean inside and outside. Andrew was an excellent host. Any and everything I needed to know about he was always helpful with his answers. Our next stay in Florida was great. I will be looking for Andrew as the host for our next stay.

Checking in was good. location was good. The size of the house was good. We rented a crib and playpen. The crib was so small. The child we rented it for wouldn’t even fit in it. The playpen was dirty. There was a sandy feel on the floor. We did not go barefoot. The fridge had a hard time getting cold but the service people worked with us to help out. The neighbors were noisey. We enjoy the club house.

Beautiful Luxury Vacation Home
This was our 5th annual vacation stay in the Champions Gate community. This was by far my favorite home as it was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay including pool floats! Did I mention that pool and spa heating was included in pricing also which was great. There is also many added items that you can rent such as strollers, cribs and even grill for a low rate for the week, this helps save on packing space. The pool is large and the water was warm and clean and the spa was hot! The house was extremely clean and everything that you needed to know was laid out for you. You are in close proximity to all the parks and shopping. The management team was phenomenal, I have booked through Andrew at least 3 other times in the past and if there is an issue he is very quick to resolve it and responds within minutes of a phone call or text. I highly recommend using this home for large family events as there was more than adequate space for everyone and no one felt on top of each other. Can't wait for our next family trip 🤗!!!

We brought a group of high school seniors down for their senior trip. The house was beautiful and very clean upon arrival. It has everything you need for a week of fun and relaxation. The property manager was super helpful whenever we had a question and responded quickly. He was especially helpful when dealing with trash: the company didn't pick up our trash for a few days so it really piled up on us, but Andrew remedied the situation easily upon checkout. The only hiccup we had was with our bus. We knew our charter bus driver wouldn't be able to park on the street so Andrew, our property manager, sent us a QR code to have the driver scan in and out when he dropped us off and picked us up. The security booth wasn't having it. They initially said the bus wasn't even allowed inside the gates. They were kind of mean about it and our driver ended up having to pick us up and drop off at the club house which was a bit of a walk from the house, especially after a long day at the parks. That's definitely not the fault of the property manager or homeowners though, but just be aware in case you plan on bringing anything large. Overall I completely recommend staying here, I would rent again for a large group.

Fantastic Family GetAway
We had a large group (21) of various ages, and the house was plenty spacious for all. Getting in and out was easy, The Oasis Club was a great perk, and I highly recommend renting the grill- it is a flat top so we made french toast, pancakes, and burgers and hot dogs on it. Nice way to cook quickly for a crowd!

The property was good. The communication with the property manager was not all that great at times about the pool. I rented from Andrew last year in the house right by side this one and had no issues. I feel like this was a new property manager and the communication was not that great. I informed the property manager that there and an issue with the pool and he/she gave me a hard time about it. I was told by the property manager that there was no issue, but was told by the pool guy that the filter needed to be cleaned and that the jets that circulate the pool were turned down to low. I like renting from Andrew, but this must be a new property manager.

The pool was treated right away, and the on-call support representative explained multiple times that for the treatment to work, the pool had to be circulating. Because you kept using the hot tub (which stops the main pool circulating), the pool water treatment was not able to be effective as quickly as intended. Jets to the pool are not adjustable, the flow to the pool is either on or off. The pool cartridge filter had already been changed when the treatment was applied. When we walked in the home we looked around and was somewhat disappointed. The pool was full of bugs. The fridge was dirty. One of the bathroom had urine left in it and had a BAD odor. We went in filming because I did not want to be responsible for something I did not misplace or break. We basically came in and cleaned. The house keeper had the nerves to leave an envelop saying you can leave a tip. No way!! I needed the tip. Now for the owner/manager of the home was wonderful. He answer my emails and his costumer service was great.

As explained to you, we had to urgently fit a new Air Handler enclosure for the AC on the morning of your arrival. The technicians were new to our homes and did not fully absorb the message not to use the bathroom. The work was completed in time so as not to disrupt your enjoyment of the home. The pool had a light dusting that had fallen from the screen enclosure during the prior night’s rainfall. That was quickly cleared away by the circulation of water through the skimmer & filtration system. Our homes are cleaned by professional contract cleaners. The house was cleaned prior to the AC install and there was not time to walk through the home again prior to your arrival; hence I apologise if there were some very minor cleaning related issues due to workmen installing the upstairs Air Conditioning system. I really appreciate you taking good care of the home. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. Thanks again for choosing the Saras Retreat (1241656) with Vrbo.

BEWARE: Obey ALL signs or pay the price
Beautiful house and great weekend, although we violated one of the rental rules. Signs are posted everywhere including every bedroom, telling you what to do or what not to do. Obviously moving any furniture, even slightly, is a violation and you will lose your whole/huge security deposit. If you have kids, BEWARE because if a remote control ends up in another room when you leave, you will also pay the price for that also. Forget the thought of everyone showering the morning you check out as they also request you launder all the towels before leaving the house (so strange). There are many other houses available in Orlando and I will never rent from this company again. We actually had a second house down the street rented with another company during the weekend and the experience was awesome and didn't cost me hundreds for furniture being moved. Personally, I feel this is a "racket" for extra income. It's hard to feel at home on vacation when there are warning signs literally everywhere. Nevertheless, we violated the policy and paid the price and therefore, will never use them again. The house was beautiful and served a purpose is for the weekend. Just beware before you rent from Andrew in this company. Here is the furniture policy from the rental agreement with them: All furniture must remain in exactly the position as discovered upon arrival. This is particularly applicable to beds, nightstands, dressers, sofas, tables, chairs, cabinets along with appliances, fixtures, fittings, mirrors and wall decorations. Any loose items (such as TV remote controls) must be left in their original location. Movement of any furniture will void the security deposit in its entirety. It is not permitted to bring in any extra or additional appliances and / or furniture into the home.

Hi Paul, thanks for taking the time to post a review of your stay at the Saras Retreat. I am pleased to read that you thought the house was great and that you enjoyed your weekend. Unfortunately, the amount of furniture you moved caused us a considerable problem. Our policies are clear in respect of the moving of furniture and are reiterated via signage throughout the home, your final instructions, and the home manual. You took it upon yourselves to move a 500lb slate pool table (which had to be moved back by four people and then professionally releveled). You moved heavy dressers, rearranged rooms, moved furniture from one room to another and made it difficult for the designated property manager to check the home as items she was looking for had been moved. We had to hire people to come and move the furniture back (as it is very heavy). The main reason we do not permit guests to move furniture is because of the risk it poses to those attempting to move the furniture; not to mention the inconvenience it causes our management, housekeeping and maintenance teams. The only issue we had was that the surrounding neighbors that arrived a few days after we started our vacation played very loud and inappropriate music all day and way into the night. This made it difficult to relax or even sleep. Other than that the house was great.

Beware, Heed the negative reviews. Go Rent elsewhere!
If you rent this place, make sure to take videos, pictures with time stamps of EVERYTHING -inside & out- when you get in and when you check out. You may become the victim to paying for damages -such as breaking the interior glass door of an oven. That is what happened to us. NEVER in all of our years of cooking have we CHIPPED or CRACKED an interior tempered glass door of an oven. A glass that is built to withstand extreme temperature. The house is BARELY equipped with anything that would have assisted in such accusation. They will accuse your party of causing such damage even if you used it 1 time for 15 minutes. On top of that, there is a ring door bell and I am sure you are being watched. Talk about privacy...creepy. -Don't even think about responding back with how you sent your email and photos of damages. Your photo was taken the DAY AFTER we left. From that time, who knows if it was your own party that caused that damage. There is NOTHING else to talk about. You have your money.

When you arrived at the home, you got in touch and stated: “The place is awesome and spacious” It appears your unfavourable review was triggered by your non-acceptance of the charge made against you in respect of the broken oven door glass. There were 26 in your group. Unfortunately, the oven door glass was broken by somebody during your stay (object dropped onto the glass whilst the oven door was open) leaving us with a very difficult situation that had to be resolved between 12/25 and 12/26 prior to our next guest arriving. Thankfully, we managed to get the parts and locate a repair technician at short notice, the cost was passed onto you. As might be expected, I am unable to absorb the costs of such damages and the deduction was made from your security deposit as per our terms and conditions. I really waffled between 4 and 5 stars on this review. The bottom line is that we had a great time, the value was good, the location was great, but there were just enough minor quibbles to knock off 1 star. Pros: - Value is good for large groups. Everybody gets a bed, and it's far more comfortable than a hotel. - Pool area is wonderful. We had a great time sitting around the pool. - The location is great. Nice property, the Oasis club is actually a good dining option. - Everything was clean and neat. The quibbles: - Self service to the extreme. We ended up making about 5 runs to stores to get things we didn't think we needed. They might have all been listed in the rules, but the rules are long, and things get missed. I understand a starting amount of toilet paper and paper towels, but only 6 coffee mugs? If you come, make sure you buy/bring: paper towels, kleenex, toilet paper, beach towels, coffee mugs, dishwasher detergent, dish towel, every food item. - The dishwasher didn't work that great. I know I could have called, but it was just one more thing, so we dealt with it. Honestly, I think it was the 6 coffee mugs which were the difference between 4 and 5 starts. In other words, we had an overall great time.

Damages included (but were not limited to) the following: excess trash, permanently stained comforters, permanently stained & soiled bed sheets, damage to a slate pool table, damaged vertical blind louvres and damage to a fan light. Unfortunately, damages this extensive are not acceptable and have to be charged to the outgoing guest. None of these damages were present prior to your arrival as can be attested to by our housekeeping team, maintenance team and 3 of our property managers. You rented two homes from us and both homes were vacated with damages. Your review and subsequent communication to me were evidently triggered by your non-acceptance of the charges made against you. This is naturally very disappointing, but as stated earlier in this review, I am unable to write off such extensive damages evidently caused by your group. We had a wonderful family vacation in Florida and enjoyed our stay at Sara’s Retreat. The house is very spacious and accommodating for large groups. It’s nice to enjoy the day at The Oasis Club floating the lazy river and ending the day in the private backyard hot tub. Our only suggestion is to put a cover over the tube at the bottom of the hot tub, as one of our guests’ got a foot suctioned to the bottom, causing him to fall and almost hit his head on the side of the hot tub. Everything else was great, and just as advertised! We will look into booking this house again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was great and accommodated all 22 of us. We had plenty of room and the resort was just about an 8 min walk away, and we even used the free shuttle service to the club house and tennis courts. The pool at our house was sooo convenient for the little ones, as was the crib and baby walker. We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend staying here! If you do, just a convenience tip to grab a few kitchen towels/ wash clothes in your suitcase and a few hand towels to use the morning before you depart. ( it was hard to keep our people from using hand towels after we had them all washed for the last day) All in all a great place for a great price, and had a great stay, very happy!

This was the first time ever booking a house to stay in. We brought a cheer team of 14 as well as coaches and a few parents. Trust me when I say I lost sleep over this. BUT I must say we WILL DO THIS AGAIN. The house was exactly as shown. Clean and easy to get to. Only a 20 minute drive to parks and ESPN. The team had dinner at the OASIS and loved it.. Everything about the house and experience was positive. The team voted to come again next year!!! SARA'S Retreat was awesome!!

very spacious home, has everything you need for a huge group of family, but needs a very good clean throughout the entire house, carpet is not clean enough, and master shower has that pink color in the grout. There are several properties just like this one. If I were you and wanted to enjoy my vacation with my family I would definitely look elsewhere. I have been in several vacation homes and the amenities on here meet the bare minimum and the rules are never ending. 1. On the first day my nephew cut his foot on a beer bottle cap left in the hot tub. In addition there were cigarette butts, floss pics, and food left on the side of the pool when we arrived. Clearly this area had not been cleaned. 2. The expectation is to keep the house clean, launder towels as you go, etc.. I absolutely agree with this. But the owner doesn't supply dish towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. 3. The owner notified me the main TV in the living room was not working. So they put in a replacement but failed to hook up the speakers to the TV. Great, well the speakers on the TV were so awful we couldn't watch movies together. 4. Hot tub was not working when we got there 5. Screws were missing from the foosball table 6. Loose toilet seats 7. Trash behind and under beds and couches The owner's response to these things? I should have notified him earlier. Or, this is what is in the terms and conditions of the contract. Fantastic! What excellent customer service skills. Not only that but now the owner is trying to charge me for stains on towels, sheets, missing napkin decorations that we never even used, a missing plastic hinge cover, and an admin fee for assessing the damages??? Wow, what a great way to nickle and dime your guests. There are so many rules here that it makes it hard to enjoy your vacation because you live in fear of being charged for anything. IF you love the feeling like you're living in a dorm, with signs everywhere and a book of rules to study so you don't get fined, than THIS is the place for you!

Thank you, Asher, for taking the time to post a review of your stay at the Saras Retreat. After your departure, a detailed property inspection was undertaken. You were notified of damage caused to the refrigerator, a missing table item and permanently stained linens & towels. Your review and subsequent communication to me were evidently triggered by your non-acceptance of the charges made against you (which were ruled in our favor when you attempted to dispute). All points were notified to me after you left. 1. I’m sorry the outside area was not fully swept clear. It was along the back edge of the pool only (not accessible to walk on). Had I been notified when you arrived, we could have addressed the issue immediately. 2. Our terms and conditions clearly state what is provided. Every guest has their personal preferences for cleaning and laundry products. We do not claim to provide these. 3. The prior guests left 6 hours before your arrival, unfortunately, we did not have time to purchase and wall mount a replacement 70” TV during that time. The provided free standing 55” Sharp UHD TV was new and purchased specially so you would have a TV in the living room. It had to fit on the furniture piece it was placed upon (there are 10 other TVs in the house including 2 additional 70” TVs). The provided TV functioned correctly along with more than adequate audio output. A new 70” wall mounted 4K UHD Smart TV has now since been installed. 4. The hot tub was functioning without issue. As is explained in the home manual, the hot tub is operated using the wall mounted timer. This was explained to you by the pool tech when he visited to investigate and found no fault. 5. There was one screw missing from one of the foosball players. I apologize if we overlooked this, it took less than a minute to fix. 6. There was one very slightly loose toilet seat that was not loose prior to your arrival. It was a 30 second job to tighten the fitting. 7. We only found trash in the home after your departure. I apologize if any of this was present prior to your arrival. Naturally, it is disappointing to read your review (which Is not entirely truthful) and I am sorry that the home did not live up to your expectation. However, you chose not to read the materials and guidance provided to you and chose to use the property in a way that contradicted our terms and conditions that you had previously actually agreed to. The House was very nice , exactly what I expected.
The only down side is there were MANY rules to remember , and when I asked the property manager a simple yes or no question, he sent me to refer to the rule book . 🙄 Please STUDY the rule book don’t just read the 27 page document. Other wise my family had a nice time , the family reunion was a success.

The home was nice and roomy
The house was great but there were a few small issues. There was some candy under a couple of beds, some hair on the sheets, the internet was down the day we arrived which caused issues with our disney experience app and the dishwasher was a little quirky. Andrew was helpful with the dishwasher and the internet was up and running the next day. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Make sure you read all the fine details in your contract.

I am sorry to read that you experienced some Housekeeping issues, had these been reported to me at the commencement of your stay (rather than after your departure), I could have instructed Housekeeping to visit and address for you. The Internet service was taken out by a storm prior to your arrival and you were notified before the commencement of your stay. Service was restored as quickly as possible by the service provider (the following afternoon). Again, please accept my apologies if these issues in any way compromised your accommodation experience.
