"The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall."

"Me, my mom & sister stayed a long weekend for mothers day. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Check in was easy and communication with the host was top notch. The master bedroom is very nice, and the cabin itself is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed downtown Lowell and a trip to meijer gardens in grand rapids (only a 20 min drive.) We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂"

"We rented for one night to go to a concert in downtown Grand Rapids and everything was perfect! We were able to park right across the street from the apartment and walked everywhere we went. Had dinner at Flannagan's, right below the apartment and was able to put our leftovers in the fridge before going to the concert since our place was just above us. "We really enjoyed our stay at Linda's river house. The house itself was very clean and a had a beautiful view of the river running behind the house. We came up for a weekend of golf and there was no shortage of great courses nearby. Linda was a very accommodating host and had several suggestions for food in the Rockford area. We really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away."
