"Dario, manager was prompt & answered our questions promptly. He gave infor for a chef & wine tour. Isa,who met us at the property, gave us a Villa tour & her number to reach her. She also cooked for us 2 nights. Absolutely wonderful and a superb Chef. Sophie,her helper was a delight. They taught us some Italian!.it was too cool for the pool,but a great addition to a lovely property. We never expected the Villa to be updated (that's the ambiance of Italy) BUT we did expect that the amenities would be more comfortable. Out of the 5 bedrooms, only 3 were really for adults. So, since I was the one that booked the Villa, my husband and I took the twin room, which was not a problem at all, we retired for the evening & took the spread off of the beds & discovered that they were COTS. They were so uncomfortable we decided to try the other room with the twin beds that were clearly children beds (low to the ground and narrower) the mattress was better but once again they were made like cots & I could not move without making loud squeaky noise. We never really slept a full night. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and plenty of room at the dinning room all eight of us. The couch and chairs were beyond there years of being comfortable. We had great hot water but there were no shower curtains & since the stall was very small the floor got a lot of water.It would have been nice for VRBO to let us know that no bath soap, shampoo or TP is provided by this property. The location was awesome"

"After a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. Really great place to bring groceries, sit by the pool and relax. We had a fabulous spa day in the town, also. LOVED this stay and hope we can return!"

"A wonderful place with all amenities and extra little touches. The whole family enjoyed the break at Casa Kennedy and especially the pool. It was remote and peaceful with wonderful views but accessible with a car to get to Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Tenuta Adamo winery and other places if you choose. We used the train network too. Drive up to Guzzano typical windy route. Able to stock up in multiple supermarkets at base of the climb up. Would highly recommend this villa one of our best holidays here! Maria ensured everything cleaned during our 10 night stay."

"What an absolutely beautiful spot. The Villa was everything we hoped for and the view was spectacular! Cuoco Adriana made us a fabulous meal on our second night. The road down to the villa is a bit tricky but we mastered it on no time. Just be patient and slow. The location was perfect for our travels to Pisa , Firenze and Cinque Terre! Each doable in a day and back in time for a late dinner on the terrace. Make sure you leave enough room for the garbage man to turn around or you will hear him yell throughout the valley. "We stayed at this beautiful villa with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren and what a memorable holiday we had. From Le Mura, the views of small villages that lit up at night, fireflies that danced in the dark ,the sound of church bells echoing in the valley, magnificent mountains and the sunsets were more beautiful than we ever imagined. Celia and Enzo were amazing hosts, thoughtful, delightful, knowledgeable of the history of places in and around Benabbio, where to eat and buy groceries etc. We loved the villa, the pool and the hikes around the Tuscan hills. A short walk to the village provided us with an excellent restaurant and bar where we could eat in or take out food. The grocery store had most things we needed. We can't wait to go back."

"Melograno Cottage provided our family of 4 from California a private mountainside retreat for a week in late June. An efficient 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat with private pool and epic views and sunsets within a 3 minute walk to an ancient hilltop village with a quality restaurant and friendly locals. We woke daily to a cacophony of bird song; walks at night provided front row seats to fireflies and small families of foxes, and days were spent in the hot Tuscan sun by the pool. An epic and memorable experience with a exceptionally responsive and friendly host. 10/10 !"
