We didn't want to drive and used the bus service from the village to go to Lucca, around a 15 mins journey. The host, Fiona, is fantastic and easy to communicate with. “The house was amazing, we had the entire top floor of the house, which had large bedrooms, common area and kitchen. The entire place was very nice and was quiet, which made it easy to relax and end a nice holiday. The pool area is share with other renters in the area, but was not an issue during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Federica war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, sehr freundlich, mitteilsam und hilfsbereit. Anfahrt zur Villa war etwas abenteuerlich, aber machbar, besonders wenn man von Federica gelotst wird. Die Villa war für uns ganz wunderbar, besonders die umlaufende Terrasse, teilweise überdacht, mit verschiedenen Sitzplätzen und sehr schönem Ausblick ins Tal mit Blickrichtung Cecina und Meer. The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. “We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed.”
