There is no bar, spa, coffee shop and not all transport is free. The rooms and the hotel are old and run down, would have been lovely once. The hotel is too expensive for what you get. "This place was such a great start to my Bali trip. The property is beautiful, serene and quiet. The staff was more than welcoming and took care of every need or request. The food was good and the room was very clean. I had a really great massage at the spa and felt very comfortable. The location is away from the city center (5-10minutes), so you will need to get a car or bike to get to the beach or shops. 10/10 experience, thank you Kalapa!!"

"We only stayed briefly as were stopping over before flight home. Wish we had longer as it was lovely! Lovely kind staff. Beautiful accommodation. Everything we needed! Staff arranged full body massage for us on 2 hours notice! They have their own massage tables on site which was perfect! Amazing little restaurant right across the road also! Perfect stay. "
