"The house is exactly as the pictures show . The house was clean. The kitchen is fully furnished with quality cookware and utensils needed for cooking a meal . The beds were comfortable as were the couches. Loved both porch's and the quietness of the neighborhood. A great place to relax and enjoy time away from home . The host (Anna)did an amazing job with the decor and outfitting the house with all the things needed for an enjoyable stay . We would definitely stay here again !"

"This was a great getaway spot for my boys and I. Plenty of room for the four of us. As the description of the place says, I highly suggest a high profile vehicle. I am thankful I have a Tahoe, because I would imagine taking a low sitting car up the road that goes right to the house, would not be a good idea. We ventured into Nashville one day and into Cookeville. Plenty of cookware. There was even an electric griddle that I used to make pancakes on. We sleep with box fans for white noise. They had one available, which was great. So, if you need a fan for noise they had at least one there to use. I also like having a night light in the bathrooms. Which there are no night lights. So bring your own or there is a Dollar General nearby (surprise!) that you can buy some. Communication with the host and rental agency was good. Oh, the gas grill does not light on its own. You will need one of those longer lighters to get the pilot lit. I had one with me but I did see one in a drawer in the kitchen. Overall I was very happy with the home and the location. I live in a rural area anyway, so being away from the hustle and bustle of a town doesn’t bother me. I would definitely go back :)"

"We chose Blackberry Hill because, with a strenuous hike, the lake was accessible! Now, you do have to turn and hike down levels once you reach the end of the steps, but there is a great rock ledge. We navigated down with kayaks, fishing poles and a paddle board, and a 5 and 2 year old!!! But once we got to the water, it was incredible! If you want to get to the water on Centerhill lake, I recommend Blackberry Hill!"
