"Lovely stay and friendly staff. Highly reccomend the floating breakfast which includes a lot of options and can easily feed 4 people. The oceanview room was amazing and the grounds and beach area are clean and stunning! "
"We went in low season so there were only a few guests. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast had a number of choices, but was only average. The pool was great; however, it did close at 6 p.m.
Overall, I enjoyed the stay."

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,006 reviews)
Drinks have bad taste and watered down for All inclusive property. Food quality ok, not many options available. Huge property so unless u walk, long wait times for carts. Overpriced and not worth the price.

Great Clean Place to Chill
"NIce quant little hotel with 6 rooms total. Half hour drive from Tamarindo, but on basically same beach but seperated by a river. Small but nice pool, 4 minute walk to long and beatiful beach. Small upstairs restaurant was nice and food was good. Great service and communication from staff. Very freindly staff indeed. 2-3 little restaurants and bars nearby within walking distance. Low key quiet area surrounded by many upscale homes. Security guard at gate entering the neighborhood. Good pace to chill, or drive 30 minutes to Tamarindo for more people and dining and activity options. Huge King Bed, rooms come with small kitchen, gas stove, utensils, plates, microwave, refrigerator. Recommend this place for chill style"
"Rarely do pictures show what you can really expect, and I always read other positive reviews with a little bit of doubt - but in this case the photos, description and the positive reviews are spot on. This is an absolutely stunning property - the house is unique with multiple bedrooms, a separate master casita and separate casita with a kitchen and living room. In addition, the main gathering area and kitchen is beautiful in itself, but then the wall-to-wall windows looking out onto the infinity edge pool and the ocean is just spectacular. The kitchen is well appointed with the essentials including an ice maker.
We spent most of our time out on the back patio area which is cleverly laid out to include plenty of sun, but also plenty of shaded areas. As with all great stays it took until the end of the week to figure out all the tricks of the house - the locks were sometimes challenging the first couple of times, but the instructions left for guest, when read, provided the necessary answers.
When at the villa, you feel really isolated as you cannot really see but the roof of the villa next door when in the back due to all of the beautiful gardens and foliage in the back. Plenty of pretty birds, some of what we would call raccoons that liked to come by in the evenings, and a few small lizards, one iguana and a few crabs but nothing intrusive. The house was well kept during the week by the housekeeper with plenty of towels, etc.
Thanks - we loved it!"

"The staff was very friendly. Accommodations were clean and the grounds well maintained. The pool was excellent. Location is within walking distance to the beach. I did rent a golf cart to visit other beaches that were a little further away. One of the best meals I had was at a roadside soda. All in all, highly recommend."
"The W is an absolutely beautiful property. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met while on your trip. The room was not only immaculate upon arrival but daily they made sure the room was spotless. The only downside is no entertainment in the evenings on property and not many dining options. We had to go to the Westin to eat dinner but not a big deal. "
