I liked the location. Easy access to 94. I did not like that I got a room with an adjoining door to the next room.

What a great design and concept with the historic building. Staff could have been more helpful. The girl that checked us in was very nice and respectful. When we requested more sheets/pillows for the room, it was never brought up. We came back to the hotel at midnight to find no extra sheets, went back down to front desk, they then "handed" us the pile. Not even thinking to bring it up themselves. Told us they were out of pillows. Geez, do we want a pillow??? Of course, one needs a pillow! Found a pillow and then they put it on top of the pile they gave me. No concern for the pile over my head. Crazy no offer to help. Otherwise, the hotel is really cool and historic I would suggest staying and checking it out. I would suggest hotel personnel just needs work on customer service.

Stayed 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend. King room. Hotel is in a nice area, fairly convenient location with easy access to interstate, retail, restaurants, etc. Property seems updated and modern with good breakfast area. Biggest disappointment was that my room did not have a typical comfortable (living room style) chair to relax in. The only chairs in the room were a desk chair and a padded dining table style chair which seemed useless. When I asked the front desk, I was told only the suites have a lounging chairs.

The property is well located. The rooms and amenities are perfect. It’s not your normal matchbox size hotel room. My only take is the non- flexibility of the hotel management. I tried to get a late a checkout and paid for it. It was for one extra hour only. I needed more time. I was willing to pay for an extra night just get the extra few hours at the hotel. Nooooo waaaaay. Although the hotel has a lot to offer, I can’t understand their attitude. It’s fine. Lesson learnt. Always book an extra night even if you need a couple more extra hours at this hotel cause you definitely won’t get any help.
