"Beautiful historical hotel with nicely appointed rooms and comfortable linens. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room which I neglected to notice when I made the reservation. The room had a balcony and it was lovely to sit outside above the hustle and bustle on the street and enjoy a glass on wine before dinner! It was quiet inside the room; I never heard other guests or traffic outside. The only drawback was that there were no handrails or towel bars in the bathroom. "

The rooms were spotless and the housekeepers were personable and very helpful. It might not have been the ritziest but personalities and cleanliness more than made the difference. "If I stated everything I loved about the property I’d be here forever, only negatives I have are the toilet in my room was leaking when I got there, which was fixed asap but then it would continuously try to fill the tank with water and I’d have to manually drop the lid after each use. 2 I never got a WiFi password and the cable signal was poor, with and without the storm. Minor inconveniences, excellent service of I go anywhere else with a graduate in town I will be staying there "
